Nice park located at the base (east side) of Ringling Bridge. To get there stay in the right lane as you approach Ringling Bridge. Just before the bridge there is a turnoff on the right. Plenty of parking. A lot of people park here to walk over the bridge. There is also a small park over the bridge on the west end. Has a playground, Hart’s Landing which is a bait and souvenir shop, and a fishing pier. Terrific place to walk and is very dog friendly as well.

This park is awesome.Sit,Read,fish,People Watch,Feed the pelicans,Breath fresh air,Walk the bridge for the ambitious,Relax and take in the breathtaking scenery.Playground for children,A little hard to maneuver into the park,so be alert for the turn off and be careful. Parking is limited.Sometimes the fishermen blare their Boom Box and ruin the serenity, a minor irritant. Another wonderful and unique Sarasota attraction.Don’t miss it.

I went fishing today on the pier. I caught a catfish and put him back. Over the years, I've been successful fishing here and caught a variety of fish. There is a baitshop right here which is very convenient. There is also a play area for the kids. I recommend this place for a fun, relaxing time in downtown #Sarasota #Florida on #SarasotaBay. Beautiful park in a spectacular location. It has been expanded a lot. It was absolutely mobbed on a Thursday night! There were no parking places. Tons of kids on all the play equipment. There were some really scary Hispanic males there, screaming at each other in Spanish. I really didn't appreciate that at all. This park has no picnic tables, but there's a snack/bait shack that has food and a few places to sit. We have been here in the dd's daytime, and it wasn't crowded and no gangs. I will not come back in the early evening, much less after dark. As usual for Sarasota, there was no police presence. Do we have a police...

Just a quick "Pit Stop" for me to stop at this "side of the bridge" park- ...in between errands & a busy life... to stop - &.... take a break, sit in the sun, pretend to fish or bring home fish for dinner, make a call, take a bike or a hike, catch up on whatever- or NOTHING! & appreciate the view & beauty of the FABULOUSLY Beautiful city of Sarasota that i call home.
