John C. Court Cabaret — Local services in Sarasota

My wife and her friends went to the show last evening. As usual, they had dinner prior to the show. My wife ordered salmon and asked it be prepared “well done”! It arrived very rare. She asked that it be taken back and prepared as she had requested and after the waitress took it away, she brought it back and told my wife that “it would be unsanitary to recook the salmon”. Instead of offering to prepare another meal and doing it as my wife had requested initially, they opted to instead simply tell my wife there would not be a charge for the meal!! In my view of the world, the customer should have the right to expect a meal be prepared to their specifications and if it’s not, the customer should be asked if she would prefer it be corrected rather than just say “no charge”!...

The venue is quaint and romantic. Excellent location within walking distance from many restaurants. We did not eat here, we just had after dinner drinks during the performance. The desserts coming out to other tables looked delicious. Online ticket purchases made arrival smooth and seamless. Our original seats in the balcony did not have a good view of the stage. The hostess happily moved us, and other similar tables, to a better viewing seat. The performers were very talented, energetic...

This cabaret is usually fantastic! It has amazing performers who do two shows per night. That's pretty amazing! They are amazing. Our favorite was the Blue Eyed Bettys! They have a full-service kitchen, too, with delicious food and a full bar. Street parking is a problem, but the Palm Avenue garage is a short walk away. 11/10/22 More great food and an amazing '70s...
