I was charged $415 — the full amount of my service — after I canceled my appointment for June 29. I called the salon on June 28 at 4:21 PM, fully within their stated cancellation policy (which clearly says 50% applies within 32 hours).
What happened next is alarming:
After my cancellation, the salon changed the appointment date to June 28, retroactively marking it as a “no-show.”
They then invoiced me the full amount, violating their own policy and attempting to cover it up by altering the record.
When I called to dispute this, I was hung up on by the front desk (Daisy).
Then, the owner called me, not to apologize, but to say:
“You were rude, so that’s why we did it. If you don’t want to pay, don’t pay.”
This happened while I was in the middle of a medical emergency — my father had just been taken to the ICU by ambulance, and I was acting as his legal representative. I explained that to them calmly, but they showed zero empathy, professionalism, or integrity.
I’ve been a loyal client for a long time. I’ve always had wonderful experiences with Jazlyne, who is incredibly talented and kind. But unfortunately, the owners and front desk staff (especially Daisy) operate with no humanity and no sense of responsibility — even in moments of real personal crisis.
Ask yourself: What kind of business changes appointment records after cancellation just to force a full charge? What kind of person hears that you’re losing a loved one — and uses that moment to make money off you?
🚨 Never give your credit card to this salon. If they’re willing to manipulate bookings and invoice you under false pretenses, they should not be trusted with your information.

Let start with the salon itself and how it make you feel like fancy Royalty! Glitter walls, draping robes, massage chairs (don't even get me started on the head massages they give you when your getting rinsed out) #Naptime! They serve amazing beverages and assign your own locker for your things to be securely kept while your getting pampered!!
I am the kind of person who trusts my stylist to the fully! I gave Brandon a general idea of what I was looking for and he got to work with no hesitation! He was honest with me about what he believed my hair could handle base on my chemistry and managed my expectations perfectly! He always made sure to talk to me about what he was doing and how it would affect my look I Was trying to achieve. Brandon knew that my main concerns was not ruining the integrity of my hair. I know going blonde was going to take a while so I don't fry my hair! He got me SOOO blond and I don't think my hair has ever been softer! He treated it so it maintained its strength and silky look!

We've been seeing Brandon and his assistant Jessica since March of last year after being referred to Brandon for a curly hair cut for my 10YO son. Brandon's haircuts have given my son healthy, bouncy curls, and Jessica always takes care of him with a shampoo, scalp massage, and hair masks. My son started getting highlights with bright, fun colors, and his hair has never been shinier! I really appreciate all the tips Brandon has shared for keeping my son's hair healthy as he has grown his hair out so much in the past eighteen months. Bal-Lance Salon's luxurious environment is more like a spa than the salons that I'm used to. All of the stations are spaced out well to afford the guests privacy. The entire team at Bal-Lance Salon always makes us feel welcomed and appreciated at the salon, and I am truly grateful for how inclusive the salon is.
