Possible very concerning ADA issue. I saw a sign posted outside that said service dogs must have a registration number. Service dog registration is not a thing—meaning there’s no governing body overseeing a system like that—and companies claiming to give you a certificate or registration number are usually a scam. Asking for this presents an issue for someone with a legitimate disability who trained a dog to perform a medical task completely on their own. According to ADA, the restaurant is not allowed to ask for service dog identification or anything about your medical situation other than “Is that a service dog for a disability” and “what task is it trained to perform?” If you are a service dog owner, please know your rights and study the ADA!
I understand that in our area, “pet parents” have become extremely entitled to have their dogs in restaurants and grocery stores, but this discriminatory way of handling the issue is going to do more harm than good and potentially drive the bad pet parents to just pay for a fake registration number, thus making things even harder for legitimately disabled individuals with service animals. I strongly suggest the business takes down the sign before someone more litigious sees it, and that they learn a more effective way to handle pets vs service dogs while staying in compliance with the ADA.
Edited after reply: What’s “rediculous” is that the restaurant isn’t taking discrimination seriously. I could have just reported you for the ADA violation instead of making this review so you fix it. I was trying to HELP YOU NOT GET SUED. But ok, at least people see how...
Read moreMy rating is based on overall experience as a customer who booked their private space for our intimate wedding event. The room can accommodate up to 50 people and has a television that you can use if you have videos or presentation to show. Ambiance and ventilation were great and there is a mural/painting on one side of the walls which might not be for everyone's liking but it worked out well for us as we were going for a rustic theme for the wedding. Their menu has comprehensive italian food selections but we chose to pick 3 mains which we particularly highly recommend which are the filet mignon and the grilled salmon. The main thing we appreciate the most and the reason why we highly recommend this restaurant is not just the quality of the Italian food that we had, but the service and pleasantness of the owners who not just treated us as friends, but also allowed us to decorate their private room a day before for our wedding with no additional costs. Will definitely come back not just for a regular lunch/dinner but also for group...
Read moreMy husband and I had dinner here on Valentine’s Day and had a terrible experience.
First, the waitress got annoyed when we asked any questions and when I corrected the order when she misunderstood, she became even more annoyed.
We ordered the Tortellini primavera and a Margherita pizza. My husband got the tortellini WITHOUT the tortellin. We had never had tortellini before so it took us a while to figure out the something was missing. I dug through the dish thing to find any sort of pasta, it was just veggies.
I told the waitress, she laughed and said, “oh yeah, I noticed that” and said she would replace it. Why on earth wouldn’t you get it fixed when you first realised? I can understand if you’ve made a honest mistake, but she knew something was off and clearly tried to get away with serving us that.
The food was also incredibly subpar. The pizza taste like it was a frozen pizza rather than fresh-made. The only nice thing was the bread before the meal.
Definitely not...
