Do NOT use junkster bags! First, they were difficult to communicate with and wouldn't answer their phone to schedule the pickup. They would only communicate with me through email.
Next, I prepaid for pickup at O'Conner's and I was told I needed to pay one pickup fee for all my bags. I was told this on 3 separate occasions because I wanted to confirm. In my emails to schedule the pickup I even wrote my prepaid code and told them I had multiple bags so they knew before hand I only paid the one fee.
When they came the to pickup the first time they refused to pick up because I didn't leave my magnet outside. No one told me the magnet was required and I also emailed them the code so I had proof of payment but that didn't matter. They refused to pick anything up so I had to reschedule for the next day. When they came the next day to pickup (at a time I specifically asked them not to come because I had movers) they told me they wouldn't take the other bags because I needed to pay additional pickup fees totaling over 1000 dollars. Such a bait and switch!!! Thankfully I was able to get a local group to take care of the bags because I will never give junkster another dime.
I don't like to leave negative reviews because everyone has a bad day, but this is ridiculous. I don't know how they have so many...
Read moreJunkster is a great option for flexibly disposing of stuff. Unlike a dumpster, you can buy the bag ahead without paying for the time between when you get the bag and when it is all the way. Then when you’re ready, the way it goes with a convenient online scheduling. I also like the fact that you can pre-pay at O’Connors hardware in Billerica and just leave a card outside after you’ve arrange for pick up. That is extremely convenient. Lastly, Junkster will pick up Bagster‘s. So if you happen to have bought one of the green bags and aren’t happy with your scheduling options, you can call junkster and they will get it gone quickly. My only mishap, and it wasn’t really a problem, was when the guys who came to pick up the bag didn’t come with the hoist and had to manually empty the bag into a truck. They were two young guys, and they ended up spending about an hour playing with a bow and arrow that was in the bag rather than moving along and finishing. It was actually kind of amusing, but probably not the type of performance junkster...
Read moreWhen I first bought my house and started working on the refurb I stacked trash in the garage and called one of those companies that will come and pick up trash. I had no idea that it was going to be a negotiation on the cost to remove the stuff. Since then, I have used 4 Junkster bags of various sizes. I buy them at my favorite hardware store (O'Connor in Billerica) and pre-pay for pickup. The bags are so convenient and pick up is a breeze. No negotiation is required! I pack them using every square inch and make sure I zip tie the handles. It amazes me how much they hold. The last one I filled was completed just prior to the 2 day snow storm. I went on the website at lunch time stating it was ready to pick up and within a few hours I had a call saying they wanted to come by and get it before the storm. They were at my house by 5PM and it was gone. They have always been great about pick ups and very reliable. I will continue to use Junskterbag for all my large debris and...
