I got the Brazilian margarita pizza. I was so sad!! My pizza was really, really thin. And very, very soggy. Way too much sauce and too little crust/pizza dough. To make matters worse, they bombarded the pizza with so much cheese, I had to pull it apart for it to be “edible”. I took a bite and gave up. Very thick layer of cheese, on very thin crust with too much sauce. It wasn’t edible. Perhaps the cook had a bad day, not sure. My very first pizza was one without sauce and it was fine. But this pizza was bad. I couldn’t eat it.
Edit- I received an email notification stating someone responded to my rating. Stating “there was no mistake with your pizza. This is how the pizza is made”. PIZZA IS PIZZA. Everyone loves pizza. It is RARE for someone not to like pizza. It’s bread, cheese and sauce. The problem with this pizza was the PROPORTIONS. It’s not that I’ve never “had margarita pizza before”. Pizza should never be so thin, heavy with cheese and soggy that you can’t pick it up. Pizza should be CRISPY. Not MUSHY/WET. There was so much cheese and so little crust, the pizza just mushed together in a way I have never seen before in my life. The cheese was so heavy, it wasn’t edible. I felt like I was eating a block of cheese. It was a disaster. Like I said, I bought a pizza once, without sauce or cheese and it was fine. Very thin. But fine. This one was horrible. I’ve had margarita pizzas before, but never like this. As a customer, nothing worse than being told your experience isn’t real or valid. Wish they would offer me a coupon instead of telling me that it’s my lack of experience with margarita pizzas. The pizza was 13.99-14.99. Money I will never see again. Pizza went in the trash. And they tell me it’s my fault for never having “margarita pizza”...
Read moreI lived on the north shore for 12 years and only now you open this shop ? Well I came back to see family and friends and since they know I’m a pizza guy they told me about this new pizzeria that had just opened up and it had a wood burning oven, I had to check it out. Came in on a chilly Thursday evening and there it was, my favorite fireplace of them all: a Wood burning pizza oven. (Don’t you think that instead of fireplaces we should have ovens ? They are the same thing but we can use to cook! ) ... well anyway, pizza was fantastic. Come to know that the pizza chef was trained in Italy under very select craftsmen and boy that shows! Product was what I expected, crispy enough but enough moisture to not make seem dry, delicious tangy tomatoes sauce on our Prosciutto & Arugula with just enough Goat cheese to make it pop ! And we were going to get a classic Margherita but the chef recommended their Caprese Pizza, which covered both the idea of an appetizer and classic cheese pie, and again fantastic pie!
I’m only in town for a couple of day’s but every time I come back this will be our new tradition as we both felt great after eating a lot of pizza and, that tells me that everything was done correctly thinking of not only how it looks or tastes, but how it digests! And this is the real wizardry ... a good pizza tastes good, a great pizza tastes great and nourishes you in the best...
Read moreMan this place is hands down on their steak and cheese sub (provolone cheese ) with bacon ,man they do pack it with nice and juicy steak and plenty of it and enough cheese to go around and thru out the whole steak . I am a one sitter sub person give me a large and I will finish it ,boy I was only able to finish 3/4 of it and will saving the other 1/4 for tomorrow. There is this popular place in Waltham the makes excellent steak and cheese subs you guys I would say matches them if not almost tops them . And you guys vanilla shakes are also exceptional I ask for a plain vanilla shake and I got a vanilla shake with caramel syrup on the bottom and I gotta tell you that was excellent also . I have had those pizzas too and they are also very good especially if you like it to be wood fire tasting
I know that this is a lot to type but I love when there is a restaurant that’s take pride in their business and they quality of the product that they serve to their customers
Ps you always hear about negative reviews and or comment but like I said when there is a job well done they should be commended for it
