Well despite my bad experience for dining at a really poor quality Japanese teriyaki place at the food court I stumbled upon this retail store which used to be part of Sears long ago when I go to woodfield Mall. Just browsing around I found a Hawaiian shirt and some other Hawaiian shirts that were made in Bangladesh or made in India I did buy one and surprised it was even under $10 it was $7.70. to me I compare this to a more bougie place without breaking the bank within any of the other retail stores. Most of the shirts were not made in China which is what attracted me they were mostly made in India or Bangladesh or Vietnam or Cambodia. I'm surprised tariffs did not affect this place?. Only being made in China there was these leather shoes. Other than that I found a shirt a Hawaiian shirt made in India the only trouble why three stars is sometimes you can't find your size but there was another shirt I like but they didn't have an extra large or xl. I'm glad I found a shirt that I like from India and the fabric was nice for it being Hawaiian looking t-shirt even though it's not made in Hawaii USA. Other than that I would come back to the store again for all these really great deals for certain things I compare this to a more upgraded version of another store I went to called foreman Mills but most of those places are catered to poor African Americans with the exception of one in North Riverside mall by cermak and Harlem close to Berwyn which I'm surprised they placed one in the mall versus its own individual store which there is one close to me by Cicero and North avenue in Chicago which is very ghetto. Anyways do come here you'll find a lot of bargains I even saw something interesting if you know the Addams family daughter Wednesday they sold some outfit like that. Again in regards to certain shirts and apparel that you can't find your size is why I give...
Read moreIf there was an option for no stars I would give it. Let me set the tone my fiancee and I had just purchased wedding rings at a jeweler in the mall who is gonna get 5 stars for sure. She had been at the mall the previous day with a friend shopping for dresses for ring girls and saw boots that my infant daughter would look so cute in at primark. So it's Friday night 12/8/23 at 830 when we walk into the store which is the end cap of the second floor of the mall. At 9000pm as we are headed to the check out the store announces it is closed and please finish your check outs and exit the store which is completely normal. What isn't so normal is the store closes the door with the access back into the mall at this time and forces you out the exit to outside. Now I work in woodfiled mall quite a bit and know all the parking areas as well as service corridor locations. Primarks door leads into an area for parking that you would only park in to shop at that store. Problem is who comes to the mall just to shop there so here we are 9 o'clock at night and forced to walk in the cold outside with our infant daughter and two other young children because one of the probably 20 plus employees they had there couldn't stand at the door into the mall and not let new customers in when I asked the manager he politely told me I'm just out of luck. So lazy do nothing employees aside the management's attitude and the policy of forcing customers to walk outside instead of allowing access back to the main corridors of the mall in my opinion the store should have closed before it opened terrible...
Read moreI don’t know where there is 2 Primark listings but I will leave a review on this listing as well.
The store looks pretty cool. The original Sears interior was completely stripped. The escalators and atrium were covered up and replaced with mannequins but the skylight still exists. The Sears passenger elevator (that is near the Primark exterior entrance) was removed and replaced with store shelves.
I like the selection of clothing they got there. I did pick up a Primark branded jumper. I would definitely come back and shop there. However it is crazy during the weekends. I think it is because the store just opened and people are curious about the store but it was extremely busy. It was busier than H&M. You could barely walk in the store. The self checkouts require an attendant when you check something out which creates more shopper downtime. You are required to scan your receipt to exit. The scanner was extremely buggy and took us a full minute to scan our receipt. Some employees didn’t know what they were doing which was surprising. Overall, it’s an amazing store to get stylish clothing for an affordable price just don’t come here during the weekends. If it’s extremely busy during the weekdays, wait 7 months to return because that’s when the...
