Edit Jan 14 2023 Very crowded but WOW fast service, PERFECT FOOD. EVERYTHING was great as always. HUGE selection of well-Presented dishes. Gor the El Loco burger, chk wings, quesadilla bites and pretzel bites. Friends from Arizona were amazed, GREAT STAFF, good IPAs Old review below: the place is pretty good but we came here for happy hour and the menus were a little confusing. they're not very descriptive (no pictures) and we didn't get (we didnt ask) much help deciding in which drinks were on sale or not and what food was on sale or not. there's actually a special happy hour menu that we had to ask for. it wasn't clear that the regular menu items weren't all on happy hour special... so we just sort of ordered a few things, I ordered a tap beer of a brand that I like and it was some nasty Berry flavor. I think the tap was marked wrong or they just didn't announce what it was or maybe it was just the wrong beer I don't know. I just drank it anyways I didn't care too much. I just ordered other things the rest of the night.

some of the people in our group were ordering sushi and other wild things, I didn't even think to try it but they seemed to really like it. I'm happy for that. they have so many variations and luxury food items, I was absolutely floored. I want to come back here just to try everything on the menu at least once. I'm looking at other reviews here and I didn't even notice those things on the menu!!! The video games were a little expensive (I grew up when they were a quarter lol) and I didn't see very many people playing them at all but it wasn't that busy.

once I found the bathrooms, despite being here a dozen times before had never used them, discovered they were rather pleasant and clean. there was some weird guy talking and yelling to himself playing pinball, I think he was the only guy around any of the games. most people were in the bar socializing. we had a pretty good time, I just wish there was a waitress to help out. maybe there was, I just didn't notice. there was mostly just one bartender with other people helping him occasionally and we were swamping him. I guess we drink too much lol. I know this is a fancy location and property, and property tax is expensive in Illinois but the reflected prices make my frugal cheap self not want to visit frequently. (the prices really aren't that bad, I'm just cheap!) I had heard the elevator was broken or shut down for some reason towards closing time (do they close it for security reasons or liability or something?) and a friend of ours in a wheelchair couldn't get out because the exit to the mall was also closed. the only way in or out besides the mall and a big staircase is the elevator. I don't know what happened after that because we left about an hour at least before he did. Don't let me give you the impression that I didn't like this place, I really did/do! I live west of Milwaukee and drive all the way JUST to come here (once a month or so) I'll be back this month too,...

Prior to today, I hadn't been since before COVID. While I was a little disappointed to see they lost the Namco branding, I'm mostly relieved to find it still here at all! Not enough arcades in the world that aren't Dave & Busters. The downstairs area that used to be a mini Namco museum is now sadly empty, but the main attraction upstairs is largely as it was.

The decently sized arcade, beautiful old bowling alley and bar/restaurant are all still there, though a fair few machines were either out of order or simply not plugged in. Mostly the really, really old classics way in the back that kids aren't likely to care about anyway, but still. As of my visit on 6/9/22, the following machines weren't powered on:

Super Pac-Man(the Pac-Man/Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga triple cabinet & Jr. Pac-Man still work), Sega Star Wars Arcade Trilogy, Millipede, Tapper, Space Invaders, Dig Dug, Q*bert, along with Let's Bounce, FlappyBird, and one of the two Tekken 7 machines and likewise one of two Full Tilt machines.

That was really my only issue — aside from finding the place, because Google Maps takes you to the wrong side of the mall, but nothing they can do about that. They're generous with bonuses on gameplay cards. When buying a $20 card, they give you $25 worth of credit on it, with bigger bonuses on the bigger cards. I will also say, they have an excellent selection of pinball machines, both classic and new. I didn't know they were still MAKING new pinball machines, but they had a very nice one for The Mandalorian. There's also a lot of very nice leather armchairs and loveseats strewn about to sit and chill while the kids run around. Good selection in the prize redemption room, from little candies and plastic trinkets on the high end to some really interesting board games and gadgets for the high ticket items.

The food is a tad pricey for what it is, though no moreso than at most chain places, and is pretty damned good. The fries looked fleshly house-made, no frozen crinkle-cuts, and the burger was enormous and not overcooked. Some places, you ask for rare and they give you medium-well. Not here. Be reassured, carnivores: my burger was pink most of the way through. Thick-cut bacon was perfectly cooked, as well. Crispy around the edges but not brittle.

Staff friendly and helpful, bathrooms clean and well-stocked. With actual paper towels! If you're going primarily to game, try to go on a Monday when all game prices are half-off. For pinball fanatics, I highly recommend Gorgar tucked way in the back to the left of the bowling alley. Really...

UPDATE: I ended up emailing the GM, Michael, who had responded to the initial review below. We even ended up discussing the incident over the phone. He apologized profusely, and offered to have my family come back in to experience Enterrium properly. We ended up doing just that last night. My kiddos had a great time bowling, playing games and we all enjoyed a lovely dinner. The service was great, the place was buzzing and the overall vibe was just awesome. We're very thankful to have enjoyed a second experience. It drastically changed our perspective! It also says EVERYTHING when a business, and a GM go above and beyond to fix a critical error like the one we initially experienced below. It goes without saying, we will be going back :)

Original post: We decided to go to Enterrium on a Tuesday evening. We being myself, my husband and my two children. Upon entering we saw a sign for, “Unlimited Bowling”. The options at Enterrium are bowling, arcades and a bar/restaurant. We decided to bowl based on the advertisement. After booking the bowling we were told we could not eat in that area. OK, we decided we would eat when we were done bowling. One hour exactly passes and our lane for bowling shut down. We call over an employee who explains that there is now a wait to bowl, so we need to exit the bowling area and if we want to bowl again we can get on a wait list. It is now 6pm, and our children are young. So we can’t foresee wanting to stay long enough to get on a wait again. We didn’t feel this was properly advertised, this or the lack of being able to eat and decided to ask for a manager.

The manger, Andres Neris comes over, and instead of listening to my concerns he asks us to leave. Immediately he created a hostile situation. I explained my intention wasn’t to upset him, he ignored me and only spoke to my husband then pretended to call security. He then demanded that we leave the building. There was no security on site. My husband attempted to also diffuse his anger but Andres continued. It was bizarre. Moments later the power went out on all 8 lanes. All of which were full. Andres is unstable and single handedly created a bizarre and intense scene in front of children and customers. We obviously won’t be going back.

For context, my husband and I both work in the industry and have literally never witnessed anything like how...

If you're coming from out of town and are looking to go to an all-inclusive place, I highly recommend Level 257. Wakka Wakka! It is a truly unique place which raised my standards for an all-in-one place. You can eat, drink, play arcade games, and go bowling with your kids or your friends. I had made reservations earlier in the week for 5 adult females on a Saturday at 6:30pm. It's hard to miss it with the giant neon sign and ghosts. We had no trouble finding nearby parking. You go up the stairs to get to the food/drinks/entertainment. We were seated promptly in a booth which overlooked the entertainment area. To our surprise there were entertainment areas on either side of the restaurant and bar. Our delicious dinner choices included the crispy chicken salad, mushroom pizza, originator pizza (see photo), shrimp and mango chutney flatbread, the hand-crafted cubano, and the chocolate "Power Pellets" (see photo). The dessert came with a surprise ingredient, pop rocks, and it really made the dish unique. My friend liked her alcoholic beverage and mentioned they had a lot of choices to choose from. We put our names on the waitlist for a bowling alley after eating. We visited the arcade section while we waited and played multiple games of skeeball and space invaders. We got enough tickets between the $20 or $30 we spent for us to get 5 very small ocean figurines and a pack of glow-in the dark stickers. We also did the photo booth and had a fun time customizing the background and stickers (anime eyes, #friends, and loads of other options). We decided we were getting tired and took our name off the bowling alley list and went home. We still had lots of fun. We stopped and took pictures of all the details they put into the place. Upstairs had fun lightning, fun structural wraps, and even the lamps at the hostess stand were all nods to pacman. Downstairs was more obvious with the carpet, slightly hidden 257 in the wall, neon signs, and the two pacmans in which you can take your picture next to.

I've been wanting to stop in here for a while. I didn't even realize they have been open for over 5 years!! The place felt very "new" when we walked in for the first time. Make sure you walk in from the street and not from inside the mall. Reason I say this is on the ground floor is a little history museum of sorts of Pac Man. Also a larger than life lego version of Pac Man. Inside is lots of fun for kids and adults. From retro pinball machines and every version of Pac Man ever made all in arcade style. It was awesome to play some retro pinball machines and even played Tapper!! That's one of my favorites from the 80s. You will find Tron and Centipede and the list goes on. There is also a full size bowling alley. With about 10 lanes. We didn't participate in this but it looked fun. On the other side is a full arcade stocked with modern versions of play for ticket games. But there are some unique games there too. Like a life size claw game! Also huge screen games that bring the retro games to the 2020s!! In the middle is a full restaurant and bar area. We visited the bar for a pre anniversary drink. The bartender was nice and filled us in on some tips about the Pac Man experience. This is a great place to let your kids go wild in the arcades while you have a few drinks. We did glance at the menu for food and as expected the food prices are a bit high. But it is Woodfield Mall and we decided against eating there. Not because the prices were too high, just interested in a couple beers and taking in the sites of the highly visually stimulating surroundings. All in all, I would say this is a great family night place to visit. Get your retro gaming on, or maybe a few games of bowling and drinks! We will come back again!
