Computer Bay — Attraction in Schererville

Computer Bay was recommended to me. They have been around for 27 years, so this is no fly-by-night company. The customer service here is superb! Paul and Joy were both very friendly and helpful. Paul spent as much time with me as needed to answer all the myriad of questions I had. I brought my desktop tower to them for hard drive and technical issues. I brought my laptop in for repair due to physical damage. Computer Bay was able to take care of both my computers in record time, without bleeding me dry financially. They are not close or convenient to me geographically speaking, but I won't take my computers anywhere else. I should share that I called some other companies, including the Geek Squad and described the physical problem with my laptop. They all told me it was toast and it would not be worth repairing. Yikes! My laptop was a gift, I couldn't have afforded it otherwise. Computer Bay was the only company who didn't tell me that I'd have to get a new laptop. They were optimistic that it could be repaired and voila-it was! I have used five different computer repair techs over the years and NONE compare to the people here. Took my computer in for what I thought was a simple screen repair in early august. He told me it would be about a week and I could come pick it up. Fast forward a month and half later, today I picked it up and the screen is fixed but there are still problems with the computer that he couldn’t fix. My computer is not even a year old and is a mac book air. He never updated me and called me about any of the issues he encountered with my computer, or to let me know he had Covid and was going to be out of office for a week. Went in.. and like so many other places, they are of the opinion that for gamming they say you have to spend thousand bucks or close to it, to get a graphics card that will run new games. Just like all the rest of the places that a fact. Spend the money. So they are just greedy or dont know about gamming computers. What ever is their problem they are totally wrong. I finally found a place that knows what is going on with these cards. They were very very knowledgeable and told me the truth.
