While I appreciate the creativity on display in how the rooms and puzzles are made my group all had a pretty crummy time here. The rooms have a strict time limit of only a few minutes at a time to complete any challenge and there's no real direction in how you need to complete each challenge. You can walk in and think you're doing okay then suddenly fail and not know why and you'll have to start all over from scratch. This can happen multiple times before you actually understand the challenge, and even after that you can still fail and not know if you tripped some failure criteria or just timed the challenge out. Whatever clues that are given in-game to solve puzzles were in no way intuitive and often had to be explained to us by staff which typically ruined the puzzle for us completely.
This will be spoilers for one puzzle so skip ahead if you don't want it to be ruined for you: one puzzle requires you to step on lettered floor tiles to spell something out a la Indiana Jones and the last crusade, the only clue is 3 wavy lines on a wall in a very dim hallway. You have to divine that that means you need to spell "ocean", so we did and we failed. It had to be explained that all the letters had to be pressed simultaneously by all the team members. We were spelling the right thing, the game would time out and we would fail and not know why and staff had to tell us how to spell the thing we were already spelling to progress as there was absolutely no instruction that we'd need to do it simultaneously and every single time you fail you have to physically leave the room, close the door, wait, then re-enter to reset. If anyone else is waiting outside the door they get to try next and you wait to try again. It's so stupid.
Some of the challenges are a "floor is lava" challenge which I think is a really fun idea but it seems like if your group is less than the ideal amount of people for it the puzzle is nearly impossible to complete and again the fail criteria is super vague so you'll randomly fail and not know why until staff explains it. I'm not going to spoil which puzzle it is but one requires the group to make a human chain to connect 2 items to complete the puzzle, we didn't have enough people to do this and didn't know why we couldn't complete the puzzle until staff told us after multiple attempts. Another game starts off as a game of wheel of fortune, the wheel was defective and what we got was not what the wheel showed. That game also had a strict time limit which made that game also seemingly impossible because the controls for entering the answers were sluggish and glitchy.
Another puzzle required you to listen to a riddle in order to configure something in order of color, but the recording was so garbled we none of us could fully understand what it was actually saying so we gave up.
I don't enjoy leaving bad reviews but we all left extremely annoyed, and $117 poorer with nothing to show for it but headaches. I genuinely do not understand why this is so highly rated. Even the staff were overheard saying that they didn't understand how anyone is supposed to complete some of these puzzles. Go to literally any other escape room and have a...

From the first phone call, with one of the best staff members any of us have ever had the pleasure of meeting, Shannon. She was helpful, informative and was full of witty banter! She assured us they could accommodate our group of 5 and assured we'd have a great time.
Come the visit, from the moment we walked in the door, Shannon was nothing but kind and friendly and hilarious! It was some of our group mates first time to an escape room, and were a bit worried of how it would go. She made us feel not just comfortable but very excited to attempt your many different themed rooms! With Matthew's slightly overwhelming but very welcomed instructions, we headed into our first room with eager anticipation and excitement!
Whenever we would get stuck or confused or just quit out of frustration, the entire staff were more then willing to lend a clue, in somewhat confusing riddles that perked us up or frustrated us more, no in between. Shannon would even make certain that our visit to certain rooms will definitely be some of the most memorable moments we've all shared together. Another member of the staff would takeover helping us out, because we took our time and really milked every minute if the 2 hours. So much so that Shannon would clock out and Jen had to step in, and another member that would not disappoint! Though we were a louder group, or even the loudest wouldn't be too far off, we had an amazing time and the staff and the atmosphere made everything even better and we really just had the best time!
In closing, Go Here. It's SO Worth it, the staff are some of the best out there, and Shannon Need a raise, also Jen and Matthew, though not to pick favorites, but most definitely Shannon! Thank you Bam Kazam for an unforgettable experience! ❤️
P.S. sorry my screaming caused a slight heartattack to everyone and...
Read moreThe idea is there but the execution is a massive failure. You have 2 hours to try to beat different escape rooms. BUT only 3 minutes to do each. They are very complicated and you get absolutely zero instructions. Also, if you make one wrong move, the room automatically ends even if your 3 minutes aren’t up. So you could immediately walk into a room and fail. Without ever really getting a chance to figure things out.
They let in a lot of groups at once so you could be looking at a long wait to try a room. Which is an issue considering you only have 2 hours there.
There are a ton of bugs as well. We had a couple of rooms that had to be reset and our time wasn’t given back.
You’re given a bracelet that gives you access to the rooms. Ours quit working before our time was up! Luckily one of the workers saw we were surprised by this and let us do the room.
Super expensive as well. It is fun (after you’ve gotten information about the rooms from the workers. But there should at least be a plaque on the front of the room with a short description of what you’re walking into. Like “you’re a cat burglar in a museum, find your way to disarm the security system before you’re caught!” That would go such a long way.
Time needs to be increased to at least 3 hours if they are going to let so many groups in at once.
Also, only a few of the rooms were open. So many were “under construction” so the lines were long and you’re spending the majority of the 2 hours you get waiting in lines.
For over $50 a person, a traditional escape room is the way to go unless they increase the time, let fewer groups in, or change the set ups.
This could be a REALLY great place to go to if they changed things.
Every single one of the staff members are so sweet! We appreciated them greatly and loved speaking with them! They made the experience ...
