Eldorado Park — Attraction in Scottsdale

Good place for early morning and evening walks or runs , during summer, durimg winter it's a excellent park it is over 2 miles maybe even entire part of Scottsdale wonderfully done park for all types of activities even a scate board area for skateboarding of all ages I recommend this park to everyone it is a good place for anything ,some things need permits ,but thats fir like parties were they might have alcoholic beverages, I DO NOT KNOW FOR SURE IF PARTIES WITH ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE EVEN PERMITTED, WITH A PERMIT ,I DO NOT KNOW IF IT IS LEGAL IN THIS PARK OR NOT ,SCOTTSDALE ARIZONA IS MOSTLY CONSERVATIVE IN POPULATION, ALTHOUGH PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES IF A PARTY OR A COOK OUT IF ALCOHOL IS EVEN PERMITTED, HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME THIS PARK FROM END TO END HAS EVERYTHING A PARK NEEDS TO BE THE BEST I WOULD GIVE THIS PARK THE VERY BEST RATING ENJOY ALL THE ACTIVITIES FROM THE VERY YOUNG AND EQUIPMENT LIKE ( SWINGS,JUNGLE GYM'S, EVEN SAND BOXES OR SAND AREAS , TO SKATEBOARDING TO COOK OUTS AND EVEN WALK PATHS FOR THE ELDERLY, I HAVE NOTICED THIS OS A HUGH PARK WITH EVERYTHING THAT A PARK NEEDS, THE ONLY THING THAT I FIND CONVENIENT IS THE PARK LIKE ALOT OF GOOD PARKS, IN THE PHOENIX METROPOLITAN, AREA THIS GOES FOR THE ENTIRE AREA PHOENIX METRO, IS JUST THE CENTER OF THE ENTIRE VALLEY WHICH WHEN I FIRST ARRIVED 40 YEARS AGO THE POPULATION WAS JUST ABOUT ( 1 ) ( ONE ) MILLION PEOPLE NOW IN 2018 THAT IS THE YEAR ( TWO THOUSAND EIGHTEEN) IS ABOUT 50 MILLION PEOPLE -- ( POSSIBLY MORE ) FROM THE NORTH - SOUTH - EAST - WEST ENTIRE VALLEY , ALOT MORE ONCE THE MONEY PEOPLE BRIBE AND TAKE ONCE WAS CONSIDERED---- GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL PROTECTED PROPERTY FROM GREEDY MONEY HUNGRY PEOPLE HAVE DEVELOPED AND DEVASTATED PROTECTED HABITATS, I CANT TELL YOU THE LAST TIME I SAW A PRIARY DOG WAS , WERE THERE WAS WILDLIFE NOW IS MILLION DOLLAR HOMES ON A MOUNTAIN JUST BECAUSE IT WAS THERE TO RUIN FOR THE PEOPLE ONCE THERE WAS A GOOD HABITAT FOR , THE AMERICAN EAGLE TO HAWKS TO LITTLE RED AND BLUE ROBINS TO OWLS, SCORPIONS, SPIDERS, WILD CATS, NOW THE MONEY MONGERS AND MONSTERS JAVE BRIBED AND BAUGHT THE MOUNTAIN AND THE OFFICIALS AT THE TIME GOT MORE RICHER AND SAID THE ( BLANK AMD BLANK WITH WILD LIFE AND INDIAN CULTURE) AND GIVE THEM 50 MILLION DOLLARS TO LOOK THE OTHER WAY LIKE LOOKING AT THERE A** IN A MIRROR AMD GOT RICH AMD GOT OUT OF POLITICAL POWER AND THEY SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE , THANK YOU FOR READING MY PROMISE TO MY BABBLE THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME , A NATIONAL NATURAL PERSPECTIVE OF THE...

El Dorado Park is a gorgeous little Park! So many wonderful shade trees -that's why I love walking my dogs there! There's always somebody fishing and enjoying a quiet time with that- there's often people playing games or volleyball or cooking out just relaxing. There's quite a few picnic tables and several ramadas for family fun but they also have the larger ramadas and lots of space for big group Fun. There's also several individual benches by the lake if you just want to sit quietly and think or watch the water and Wildlife or catch up on phone messages . The big beautiful Heron's nest in a Tree close by and usually some ducks hanging out. There are nice playground areas- 1 is completely shaded overhead the other I believe for younger children is made with a material that is not hot to the touch and they have upgraded that beautifully as well. It is Well cared for and is a world of difference compared to the 1960s and 70s (I have pictures I remember)! I'm So grateful for a relaxing gorgeous park to be close to and enjoy with family and friends or my dogs. I don't have pictures to add at this time but I've got some when we've had terrible Monsoon storms and our beautiful park got flooded out briefly,--but even though that's inevitable it's cleaned up as quickly as they're able depending on the damage. This park is awesome! Great jungle gym and swings. My family likes the aquatic center. If you're Scottsdale residents, its $3 for adults and $2 for children. Non residents $4 for adults and $3 for children. Its a two sided pool, on the left is for children. The water is 1'8 foot deep wichbis perfect for little 6 month old babies (with physical close supervision of course) and teeders between 2ft and 3ft the more you move out toward the deeper side of the pool. Theres a little diving board and a BIG diving board, on the diving side of the pool which is the far right, the water is 13ft deep. On the far left are two large water slides, the water is 5'6 ft deep. There are two big snack machines and there are tables to set up food or birthday cakes. Great place for birthday parties for ages 6 month to 100 years old. They are open seven days a week from 1pm to 5pm. A whole four hours, thats it! One Saturday a month however, the pool is open from 1pm to 9pm. Just ask the front office for details. This place is also a Boys and Girls club too.
