Electric City Repairs — Attraction in Scranton

I had brought my Samsung s22 ultra here and it had a cracked screen and all I can say is I am disappointed. I have never had any luck with fixing my devices but had hope this time. The owner who fixed my phone had it for at least a month. The price was good it was $300 to fix the screen which was a great price. He orders his parts from ebay which now we know are after market parts. He ordered a whole new display and took a couple weeks. He called us back saying he didn't know the back of the phone was glass and he cracked it. So he ate the cost and bought a new glass back which was not the correct part we figured out after we got it back. When we went to pick up the phone the glass back was not sticking. I had the phone back not even a few days and the back was popping off and exposed the back of the phone. The phone screen stopped working completely. I don't want to deal with the aggravation of bringing it back and had to buy a new phone costing me even more money. Maybe not everyone has a bad experience here...

I went into Electric City Repairs after being turned away from Best Buy. My computer’s hinge broke and I truly thought I was going to have to get a whole new computer. Joe got right to work on my laptop and dedicated the rest of his night to fixing it for me. He is so knowledgeable, professional, and skilled at what he does. He completely fixed my laptop that night (something Best Buy told me would take at least 3 weeks bc they had to ship it someplace else). I’m a college student and was worried about the cost of the repair. However, Joe’s prices were fair, honest, and very very affordable. He saved me hundreds of dollars that I would have had to spend on a new computer. I cant thank Joe enough for helping me. I was in a pinch and was looking for a VCR so I could watch old video tapes with my family since they were leaving the next day. Walmart and Best buy didn't have any. I called up electric City repairs and from the second Joe the owner answered the phone, to the personal service he offered me when I went down, and willing gave me his last VCR that he was currently using, (excellent condition I might add) On top of the service he was providing for another customer in there,. All around excellent experience. If we could all go back to service like this , the kind , caring , personal 1 on 1 , instead of the hustle and bustle in and out of the commercial stores, it would be amazing ..
