I’ve been here three times and each time the service got worse. First time I went I was charged for two drinks when I only ordered one. My friend’s mac and cheese came out cold and he barely ate any of it. I had the smash burger, it was insanely good. Staff barely came over to check on us, and took forever to flag down to get my bill. Second time I had the smash burger again because it was so good the first time. Didn’t disappoint. The service however again was lacking. They just don’t seem to check on tables. Third time was the just the other day. We ordered drinks, and then were left there for an hour waiting for someone to come over or even look at our table to get their attention. A bartender came over to get our glasses because we put them at the end of the table and we asked if we can order some apps (an hour into being there) and that we were waiting for a friend to come and would then be ordering actual food. We never got to order more food because no one ever came back over to take an order/ask us if we want more drinks/take anything off the table until after the bill was paid. We also only got three napkins, one fork, and one knife to split between 4 people for apps. My friends ended up having to go up to the bar to order more drinks and at that point we didn’t even want to order food as we had no idea how long that would even take and figured we’d go elsewhere. The friend who showed up later was never asked if he wanted a drink or anything. I just don’t think staff cares about customers from my perspective and experiences. Food is pretty good, but be prepared to be ignored if you go. If I come back it’ll only be for takeout, the smash burger...

Finally, a night out downtown after a very long week, I recalled a post I saw for a new, up and coming business in downtown Scranton. They showcased a very delectable double cheese burger and a variety of items that included umami, a tantalizing flavor. After a drink or two, we decided to order something to satisfy my intermittent fasting appetite. Pretzels with beer cheese were a safe bet to make on this new venue, and I was very pleased with that tasty outcome. The next few items were a risk I was willing to take on this seemingly delicious menu. Umami steak nachos. Quite the combination full of flavor that left me wanting more. With a menu suitable to fit anyone's wants and needs, I was literally hooked by the thought of a Maine style lobster roll. I was instantly transported to Boston and felt the sudden urge to throw crates of tea into the Lackawanna River. Absolutely fantastic. Finally, through my culinary menu journey, from the top to bottom, I craved that burger that drew me to this place. Superb. The right mix of seasoning and meat temperature easily made this burger unforgettable. I highly recommend this "test menu" and truly hope they keep several of these items on the full-time menu.
