Empanada King Scranton — Restaurant in Scranton

I ordered $32 dollars worth of food. A number 5 combo, 3 addition PIZZA Empanadas and I specifically specified pizza. Which should have cheese AND sauce. My gf also wanted cheese steak fries but the lady said she couldn't it and was only doing empanadas. Which I then asked how if I was still gonna get fries due to the combo? If she couldn't just add the things to the combo fries or at least add some cheese sauce but no she couldn't do that. My gf was pissed because all she wanted was cheese steak fries. When I got home to my brothers, the pizza ones werent even pizza they were just straight cheese. My one brother didnt even eat his 2 empanadas because he doesn't like straight cheese. I literally ordered pizza ones. (I have ordered the pizza ones before so I know the difference) So ended up having to throw 2 and half empanadas away because nobody ate them. The lady explained to me that since she was closing soon (this was around 3 o clock today on Labor Day) she couldn't make my gf's cheese steak fries. I'm Puerto Rican and I speak perfect Spanish so there was no language barrier as I talked to the lady in Spanish since clearly she was having trouble understanding my GF. Entiendo que ella estaba haciendo un monton de ordenes pero no es excusa. If you guys were gonna have a limited menu you should state it outright. And don't tell me a plain cheese empanada is the same as a pizza one because it sure isn't. The other food was good like usual just the experience of having 3 wrong empanadas and my gf not able to get her food is what disappointed me. We used to come here all the time but now we barely do, exactly because of this. Every Single Time, there's something up with our order. At this point we might just not come here at all. Wish yall...

The food at Empanada King is overall great, but this particular order and service wasn't. Yesterday, 09/28/25, my parents ordered a set of chicken empanadas and only chicken; it was for a family gathering later that evening. When my mom was sharing them out she cracked open all to make sure, and there was beef... We specifically wanted chicken a member of the family is allergic to beef and it so happens to also go against our religion. We prefer not to have beef. When I called the shop for a manager to explain that and ask why would your employee substitute without saying anything?? the lady who answered hung up and wouldn't pick up again... I would like to have this resolved and receive compensation, because I think I would still eat at Empanada King.

EDIT: Called again and finally got an answer. I talked with the same lady, all she did was listen and hang up. didn't take my calls afterwards. Personally, I won't be going back now. Whatever my parents do is up to them, but I won't be eating...

Point number one: The person who served us was extremely rude, when she talks to you she doesn't even look at your face. She didn't ask if we were going to eat there or take out. Point two: we sat at the table, and from afar she yelled "here's the food" we didn't even understand her because she yelled and didn't look at us. A very unpleasant person. Point three: we started eating and the empanadas were dripping with oil. She wasn't even able to bring us a plate or anything. The taste is good, but the attention pretty much kills the place. That's why I give it only 2 stars. Bitter and unpleasant people should not be in...
