We stopped here for a bite to eat and a little shopping before we visited the nearby beach.
It was the middle of March when we came, which I would think is off season, but there were still some people here.
We had our little five pound dog with us, it does seem somewhat pet friendly here. For example, I noticed pet waste bag dispensers.
I really liked the architectural elements of the buildings here, it's very quaint and has a Disney World like cleanliness. The shops were cute, but pricey, so we didn't buy much other than clearance items at the souvenir shop.
There are a handful of restaurants available, we got take out from the Italian one since we had our pup along.
I recommend popping your head into the pharmacy and scoop shop for some old time vibes.

The server was impatient, annoying, and kept interrupting our meeting asking if we were done, even though we clearly were not (plates still full of food, glasses half full of spirits). I finally asked her if she was trying to run us off or kick us out; she was embarrassed (especially since she was not treating her other customers like that) 😹🤗🙄🤔.

Read moreThe Harris Teeter has fabulous prepared and made-to-order food, great-looking hot bar, sushi, pizza, a Starbucks, and a really nice selection of foods for a small, beach grocer...all at very reasonable prices!! I buy organic, and was able to buy everything I needed and then some for our week-long vacation here!! And staff is super-friendly, helpful, and efficient!! Huge bonus when choosing to vacation in this area! Headed there to the village for a farmer's market this afternoon...lots of fun shops and activities there in the summer! Love...
