Met up with a few teammates from the late 70's SU Chieftain Soccer Team.(Now Redhawks) We were all jealous and very proud at the same time of this facility. Great natural grass playing surface! Just outstanding. Fans in a well kept covered bleacher area, and the covered bench area for the Teams were unheard of in our playing days. We remember the mud and rocks on the 80 yard long Broadway play field, we all wear the scars from the crushed brick surface at the original Fort Dent Stadium. Championship Field is a...
