Boon Boona Coffee is a delightful gem for coffee aficionados and casual drinkers alike, nestled in the heart of its vibrant community. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the rich aromas of freshly brewed coffee and the warm, inviting decor that showcases its commitment to both quality and culture. The cappuccino at Boon Boona is a standout, skillfully crafted to provide the perfect balance of bold espresso and velvety microfoam. Each cup is a testament to the baristas' dedication to excellence, using high-quality beans sourced directly from East Africa. The result is a perfectly creamy texture that complements the robust flavor profile without overwhelming the palate. The nuanced notes of chocolate and berry shine through, creating a truly memorable drinking experience. Moreover, the atmosphere encourages you to linger—whether you're catching up with friends or diving into a good book. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to recommend their latest seasonal creations or assist you in finding your new favorite brew. Boon Boona Coffee isn’t just a place to grab a quick caffeine fix; it’s an experience that celebrates the art of coffee in every sip. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this exceptional café!

Such a lovely place! Employees are so sweet, it can be a bit crowded at times but adds to the vibrant coffee atomsphere. I ordered the Orange Blossom Latte, it was alright. I mean, it tasted like something I can get elsewhere but it was lovely. The other drinks here are much better tasting, I suggest the Iced lavendar latte. The beans they use is some of the best in Washington! The sprinkle cookies were a bit average for the price but I enjoyed it. 3/5. I prefer their savory pinwheel, I got it for a dollar because it was a day old and it was SO good. Overall, lovely place, solid food, what more could you want? Would recommend to all coffee lovers who are passing by <33.

As a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast, I recently had the pleasure of visiting Boon Boona Coffee in Seattle, and let me tell you, it was an experience worth raving about! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the aromatic and tantalizing smell of freshly brewed coffee that enveloped the cozy atmosphere of the cafe.

One of the standout aspects of Boon Boona Coffee is their emphasis on African coffee, showcasing an expertly curated selection of beans from across the continent. This unique focus not only sets them apart from other coffee shops but also allows patrons to embark on a cultural journey as they savor each cup. Sipping on a cup of their delicious coffee, it was evident that the natural coffee beans used were of exceptional quality and hard to come by.

Although Boon Boona Coffee may not be the cheapest option out there, I firmly believe that you get what you pay for. The quality and uniqueness of their offerings more than justify the price, and I left feeling satisfied with the value I received.

The staff at Boon Boona Coffee also played a significant role in elevating my experience. Their extensive knowledge of coffee and the passion they exuded for their craft was infectious. The friendly, attentive service made me feel welcomed and well-informed throughout my visit.

In conclusion, Boon Boona Coffee is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to indulge in some of the finest African coffee Seattle has to offer. I am already eagerly anticipating my next visit and encourage other coffee lovers to make the trip – you won't be...

Black owned, and offering coffee from exclusively African growing regions, Boon Boona Coffee is a unique Seattle business, and a great place to get a bag of beans.

Their Capital Hill café had a nice look and ambiance, but I felt the seating was limited (maybe a dozen spots). This capacity seems especially slim in winter. Their menu is nice, but also a tad ambiguous. I didn’t realize that when I ordered a “single-origin” pour over, I was getting hot batched brew coffee from a carafe. This is not to say the coffee was bad, it was great! While the carafe coffee was very hot, the cup itself (which was Ubuto – Burundi I believe) was complex with sour aromatics and notes of prune and molasses.

In general however, the menu has great variety. You can enjoy non-coffee drinks (like Chai, London fog, and hot coca), as well as classic Italian espresso drinks, standard mocha/latte type offerings, and their unique seasonal beverages which might be Matcha, Chai, or Coffee based.

I’d recommend coming in on a Tuesday or Thursday, or early any day to grab some nice coffee, a bag of beans, and maybe even a one of a kind, seasonally...
