I recently had the pleasure of dining at Carmelo's Tacos, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. I ordered the cactus burrito and a taco, and both exceeded my expectations. The cactus burrito was packed with flavor, combining tender, well-seasoned cactus with fresh ingredients that created a perfect harmony in every bite. The taco was equally impressive, with a burst of authentic Mexican flavors that left me craving more.

The portions at Carmelo's Tacos are generous, ensuring you get great value for the reasonable prices. It's clear that they prioritize both quality and quantity, making it a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.

One of the highlights of my visit was the friendly customer service. The staff were welcoming and attentive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable. They were more than happy to answer questions and provide recommendations, which added a personal touch to the experience.

Parking is on the street and requires payment, but it’s a minor inconvenience considering the quality of the food and service. Overall, my experience at Carmelo's Tacos was overwhelmingly positive. Whether you're a fan of traditional Mexican cuisine or looking to try something new, I highly recommend giving Carmelo's Tacos a visit. You won’t be...

Used to be my favorite burrito in the area, gone downhill over the 4 years I’ve lived next door. Not bad by any means, but no longer the best burrito in the area at all - very, very small for the price, size of a can of soda. About the same size as a baby burrito from Tacos Chukis for roughly 2.5x the price. No native online ordering system, forced to go through DoorDash store front which increases all the prices per item by 2-3 dollars, but they no longer answer the store phone either - So if you want carry out, have to walk in to physically order to not give money away to 3rd party platforms - this could easily be fixed with the store’s own system, very worth having with there being multiple locations, and would probably increase my visits here by 2-300% as I used to frequent when they’d actually take the carry out orders, although that’s hard to justify at this point anyway with the food having shrunk to about half the size it used to be and clearly made with a little less care for flavor/attention to detail. Usually still happy to eat here once every few months regardless, disappointed last night as the burrito was made with the wrong meat, served with wrong sauce, very small for the price, and I had to walk to the store to place the...

Camelo’s Tacos is so good! Located near the University of Seattle, this spot is a hidden gem that definitely lives up to the hype. You know it’s legit when there’s a line out the door even during off-hours, but the staff is super quick and the food is worth the wait every time.

The ambiance is really nice casual and welcoming, making it a great place to grab a quick bite or hang out with friends.

We ordered the queso birria, a carnitas burrito, a chorizo taco, and a pastor burrito. Everything was packed with flavor, fresh, and cooked just right. The pastor burrito in particular was amazing, tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. The queso birria was cheesy, crispy, and absolutely hit the spot. The housemade green salsa is another standout; it adds a bold kick that really brings out the flavors of the tacos and burritos.

To top it off, we got an horchata that was smooth and refreshing, not overly sweet, just right.

These are authentic Mexican tacos and burritos and the quality shines through. Prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and if I lived in the area, I would honestly be here all the time. Highly recommend...
