Named for its iron sulphur spring, Licton Springs is a lovely park near North Seattle Community College. The spring itself isn’t much to look at, but the park is a cool and lush urban respite especially in summer. If you are interested in birding, this is a great place to spot wood ducks. The park is small, so it’s not much of a hike, but if you just need a quiet place to rest and rejuvenate go here first.

I'm a tourist from Alaska. I love to check out the local parks whenever I travel. This is a beautiful area.. Concerned that there are however the 4 homeless encampments within 50 feet of the playground, just out of sight over a hill Creepy to see grown men just kicking it in their camp withing eyeshot of kids playing. Makes me feel like I have to overlook that to enjoy the ammenities. Won't be back

We love this park! Walk here almost everyday with my kids! Plenty of adventure trails, salamander patches in the summer and a great playground for everyone from my 2-6 year olds and parents too! There are a few toys left around the playground too! Just wish they would bring the BBQ back we had to bring already cooked food for a family party there this weekend.

Wonderful park! Gives you a little bit of taste of much wanted forest. First walked here from the proton center, through the beautiful graveyard just to the south of it, then down Ashworth, and, voilà! Ashworth is strangely beautiful, too, and I wish I could review the street (can I?) small houses, the kind of the neighborhood you'd like to live in, with a bit of space in their yards. I yearn for something modest, something quaint, somewhere with one more room than what we have now (lofted studio) so that when one of us can't sleep or isn't supposed to, we can sprawl out into the other room and leave the other undisturbed and unperturbed. This was my first time here, and I was concussed from a sport I don't play. Didn't even realize one of my best friends lives right around the corner! They are serious deals, concussions. Protect your head. That's where...

Also another pretty spot in that area along Aurora/Hwy99..It has an awesome Parisian well w/great info on it & the spring(s) that feed it..Also plenty of information plaques on the sustainable way in which they manage the lush indigenous plant life & how it was built..Another wonder of nature showcased beautifully by sustainable development philosophies.Really pretty trails cut thru the whole park while going over picturesque streams, well lightly filtered storm runoff water but there really is spring(s)& a real Parisian well..Also a new playground with equipment & seasonally open public restrooms which are not open now..Great place to exercise, picnic, play, relax & let your pup run around..The park is about a city block big and there is street parking all around it..Be respectful cuz it is located in a neighborhood so behave & don't...

What a great neighborhood park this was! There were many children and dogs running around playing on the playground, which my my 5 year old was very pleased with! I was especially impressed with the fact that there were many plastic toy cars all over for children to ride on that belong to the park. Also hopscotch Lane was super cute. There were about seven different types of hopscotch all from different countries and they had a description on how to play them and where they were from. I would have given this park 5 stars except that there were a few homeless people lurking around the restrooms and one of the men poked his head in the bathroom while I was in there and asked me if I had a cigarette. It definitely...
