PLEASE READ! My husband and I have been to the other hot tub boats. We will not be returning to this one. I told the owner my concerns but there was a excuse/reason for everything wrong we experienced. I had said I was not going to leave a review, like I previously said there was only excuses nothing was willing to be fixed. My husband and I spent $661.40 for 2 hrs. We only made it 21minutes. The employee working was nice and friendly. As approaching the boat though we had been told it had been cooled down. A little curious as to why but we were told it would heat up to temperature. Which was set at 99 the previous hot tub boats we have been on are heated higher because of water from the pier splashing in. As we get in the hot tub boat it is lukewarm, I asked the employee if what I was grabbing was a dry box he said yes. The owner comes out telling me not to open it as I'm lifting the hatch saying DONT OPEN THAT I felt a little embarrassed as the employee just told me that was a dry box. Then because we got a deluxe package they put a bottle of sparkling champagne in the boat on a floating mechanism with no cups so we're supposed to drink out of a glass bottle. Then they are explaining how to drive, my husband has driven everything, this was the most challenging hot tub boat to drive and they have a box that is in view so anyone who is driving can't see in front of the boat. But as we get out on the pier it's a warmer day lots of boats out we start hitting wakes from other boats there is no grip in the hot tub boat as were being tossed around and we're not small people so it made our experience not the best to start out. Very uncomfortable. But then we realize the water getting cooler drastically quicker I went to go put down the Shaded visor because it was very warm out and we wanted some sun very difficult to even mess with so I just gave up so we decided to make a quick call before we got too far out to ask how the Jets work and how do we heat up the water we called and talked to the employee they hadn't figured out the Jets yet so they were not working and water would not heat up he said not much we can do there. So then why would you cool down the hot tub during the day and admit to it when you knew we were coming for a 4:00 appointment? At this point my husband and I were very irritable because of the Small Things adding up they are a new business we absolutely understand so I did not want to leave a bad review I told the owner I would not but I wanted to express to him our issues. He had reasons/excuses why everything was the way it was but if you want to successful business then you need to listen to what your clients have to say and have a plan of action on how to fix it. The reason I'm leaving this review is because nothing was justified nothing was tempted to be fixed I understand not all businesses especially when getting on their feet can do a refund and I would never expect one but after talking to the owner if it was my business I would have taken the approach to say hey how about when we get this stuff fixed will call you you can have an hour on US or you can have a percentage off on your next visit but there was no accommodation at all. And the owner knew we were only on the pier for 21 minutes. As I've been expressing my trip experiences with clients as I work in the beauty industry because they asked me how my trip was they said you should leave a review and they're 100% right because if someone has to save that money up all year or longer and that's their purpose of the trip that's not fair to them. I do not expect anything now I do not want anything now as it has been two weeks and the owner didn't even bother apologizing or reaching out. The employee did Apologize but that's not on him. And he shouldn't have to when the owner was right there. We are apologetic to have to leave this review but once again as I have said previously I would feel bad someone saving up a lot of money as this one is a little more expensive and it was the most...

I dabble as a hot tub boat connoisseur. Not really but I’ve hot tub boated a few times. This place was good, but needs to make a few tweaks to make it worth the $450-500 price tags for two hours of fun.

I had high hopes because it has ā€˜Lux’ in the name, so here’s why I only gave this one 3 stars:

boat was much harder to drive than the other two hot tub boat companies on Lake Union. It’s an epropulsion outboard. Lake Union Hot Tub Boats is controlled with a joystick - easier and more comfortable, and faster, so you can actually jot around the lake. there’s a big storage area in the front that blocks the drivers view, even if they are sitting up which you almost have to be doing to drive this boat hot tub temp was 100 degrees, even though they state it’s 102. Lake Union Hot Tub Boats gas there’s at 104 they don’t have showers or offer towels (other place does) employees / owner (?) made comment about tipping. I’m all for tipping, but not on average high-priced activities they should have a swimsuit spinner and offer something to place

Other than the side comment about the tip, everyone was friendly. They also gave us waters, which was equivalent to the other places which also offer refreshments. The changing rooms were clean.

All in all 3 stars. If I didn’t know there was much better options on the lake, I’d go here, but because there is, I’d suggest scoping out other options until they make a few tweaks to match a high...

This is the third and newest kid on the block for the hot tub boat companies in Seattle. Go! The nicest folks work here. They made us feel so welcome. The trips are expensive but so unique and worth it. Ask for a bluetooth speaker for your music. The boats were difficult to steer for myself (they are sensitive and so I kept overcorrecting), but my friend who has more experience on the water got the hang of it quickly. The boats only go 3 mph, so it can feel like you aren’t moving much—or in the right direction—so be patient. For those heading out at sunset, be aware of exactly where you left from (landmarks or boats). The buildings look very different in the dark than in the light, and when heading back toward the dock, we realized we didn’t quite know where to go, so we utilized Google Maps and made an educated guess about where to return. There is a sign that says LUXE, but the building is set farther back, so you can’t see it until you are already in the right spot. I loved that we had a visit to the boat from friendly Canadian geese and also ducks, and the water was a perfect temperature. What a...
