Harry Potter Sweet Suites — Hotel in Seattle

DO NOT GO HERE! We booked this place for 3 nights while waiting to board a cruise. The advertisement is highly deceiving and information is left out. First, there is no parking near the building. We drove at least a 4 block radius and there was nothing available. There is no driveway and the place sits behind another large house where you cannot even see it. We were given a passcode to enter the place and to access our room. Needless to say, we did not even make it to the room. Walked in the front door and up about 20 steps to the community area. There was someone sleeping on the community couch, food and trash everywhere. Immediately we turned around, got in our car and left to find something that is acceptable to stay in, which ended up being another 40 min drive closer to the airport. After contacting Expedia about the issues, they contacted the property. The property was unrealistic about canceling the reservation and refused to do so. Refused any sort of refund even though the place was falsely advertised. Contacted the property ourselves regarding the $200 security deposit being released and was rudely told to call my bank and was hung up. One star because this is NOT in any way shape or form a hotel or 'guest lodge'. It's a remote Airbnb farm. If you have any kind of issue you will NOT get a timely response. There is NO staff at the location. Everything is done online. The room and bedding was doused in knock off downy. The chemical smell was so intense I had an allergic reaction. I called the 'office' - it's a number in Arkansas. I waited for an hour and a half for them to finally let me know that they wouldn't be able to give me a new pair of sheets that evening. I was forced to find another hotel at midnight. The next day, at 10:30am, I received a text stating that clean sheets had been left for me. I returned at 9:30pm to find the room left in exactly the same state as I had left it the previous night. Another hour long wait for a text message response. The crew had left the sheets on the door handle of the same room number but in a different building. Again, I was forced to find other lodging. They won't give me a refund, stating I have to go to my 'platform' for a refund. My advice is to stay away from this place or book it on a credit card with travel protection as they will NEVER refund...

The name of this property is deceiving. I had different expectations when booking. The room was small and not very clean, with thin walls that let in a lot of noise-every sound from neighboring rooms was audible, even late at night. Parking was a nightmare; I had to park 15 minutes away on foot from the building. On the last day, the AC stopped working, and we had to figure out a temporary solution ourselves. Although the host was friendly over text, there was no one available on-site for immediate assistance. It's puzzling why they charge a cleaning fee when the rooms aren't thoroughly cleaned. This was my personal experience, so it may vary for others. After booking, they sent an email link asking for additional payments and extensive personal information, including flight ticket details if you're traveling by air, which felt excessive. During checkout, they scrutinize everything closely, which left me uncomfortable about potential additional charges. Overall, based on my experience, I wouldn't choose to stay here again.
