Amazing pedis and manis!! This nail spa has a family team of nail and beauty professionals and they always make me smile. It is very clean and very comfortable/relaxing for pedicures or manicures of any kind. I know they also provide waxing services but I have not had one so I can only speak on the nail services, and they are always great! I have been searching for a reliable place to get an amazing and affordable pedi in the Seattle area for so long, literal years. The salons in Seattle are usually not reliable and have difficulties with consistency and quality of work or cleanliness. Also some salon owners treat their staff terribly. At Nina’s Nails & Spa that is never an issue! The entire team is warm and welcoming and very professional. I am a shoe/feet model so I need to keep my toes looking perfect and they never disappoint me. I live in the south lake union neighborhood and even though I could walk to several other nail salons right near me, I have no issue driving to capital hill for this lovely salon. My favorite people plus my favorite, most reliable and consistent spot! The pic I’ve added is a recent shellac pedi I received from this salon, it is a week old in the pic and it still looks brand new! I would highly recommend making an appointment 💖anyone you get as your nail professional will do their very best and take their time to make sure no details are missed. Thank you to Nina’s Nails & Spa! Ha…is an ARTIST 👩‍🎨

They were very polite, but there was a real lack of communication and my spa pedicure was done poorly. When I walked in I was greeted and I showed the man at the front what I wanted (early 2000s nail art). I asked if it would be the same type of polish that he initially pointed at, he said yes. I sat down. Three different people came to do my pedicure. First the man, polite. Than a woman to relieve him when it got a little busy, polite. Then they said I needed to get up to pick the colors after the lady got done with my “spa treatment” I explained how I was trying to do that first so I didn’t have to get up again.. someone brought over some browns, which was kind. I chose three different shades of brown. Then the nail artist came and did the first coat and let me know it would be 15 mins for the paint to dry. I ended up waiting 30 EXTRA minutes. 45 MINUTES later someone asked me if I was ready to leave! I thought this was a first coating, not a once over.. I definitely expressed that I would like my pedicure to look more like the picture I had showed them..the second round was better but it felt extremely rushed. Now this time the wait was 5 minutes.. it was $48 which isn’t horrible but what the heck. As polite as they were, the service was not great and I won’t be coming back.. very disappointed. This place has great reviews which is why I chose it..

I have been coming to Nina Nails (Formerly Le Cedrus Nails) for several years now and usually have had nothing but great experiences. Earlier this week, I had tried to make a reservation and could not get through, so I decided to contact them via email. When I did so, I was told that their "staff" was not "skilled enough to meet my expectations" The task at hand was a simple eyebrow wax. I have never complained or indicated I was unhappy. Always satisfied! No issues! However, this was an issue apparently because now the beautician has decided she will not wax my eyebrows. The reason given was not thoroughly explained.

When I called from a different number, they picked up the phone, I asked to schedule an appointment, provided my phone number and that is when I was told that I could not have my eyebrows done for the same vague, cryptic reason given in the email.

The situation seems extremely discriminatory. It turns out that my number was BLOCKED from calling the establishment (hence I called from a different number in order to get through). There was no incident or confrontation that ever happened leading up to this, which leads me to believe it was racially-motivated and they simply were uncomfortable with a black man coming to their place of business for services.

So if you are a person of color in the area, I would highly advise you NOT to come to this place even if you are a loyal, honest, paying customer. You won't be...
