I could have just had the mac salad and been a very happy man. Cooling and soft, it satisfied in a way that most mac salads don't quite reach. The noodles were perfectly cooked and there wasn't too much mayo. I had the fried mahi mahi mixed plate. All mixed plates come with two scoops of rice, one scoop of mac salad, and a slaw. I would have traded a scoop of mac salad for one of the rice. The fish was expertly fried. The panko breadcrumbs were the perfect golden brown and tightly adhered to the fish. A little quick dip in the sweet/hot sauce and it was very tasty. The piece was big and I couldn't finish it all; it might have been a half-pound of fish. The slaw lacked zing, although it had good crunch and was not overly watery. I think a bit more acid, maybe a pinch of salt or something salty would have been good. Maybe a splash of fish sauce and lime juice? The other small ding is the presentation. I don't like eating out of a cardboard box (I chose to eat in, not take out). I would have preferred a plate and I would have put the fish separate or on the rice. I've got to try some of the mixed plates with meat in the future. Or I might be very happy with just an order of wings and a side of mac salad.

We had the privilege of having Buddah Bruddah cater our wedding 2 weeks ago. To start with Drea was a dream to communicate with. It was mostly through email but we did have a phone call a week or two prior to the wedding to just make sure we were on the same page and go over final details. The team was so nice and did an amazing job. They catered apps during cocktail hour, provided bartending, had a delicious buffet dinner (Huli Huli chicken, Hawaiian Beef, rice, Mac salad, stir fried veggies, an delish sauces), water service, bussing, and even offered to put out our cake and cupcakes when it came time. I had so many compliments from our guests, several telling me it was the best wedding food they had ever had. To be honest they were so great that I feel like I barely interacted with them at all. That's how good they were! Anything to do with a wedding these days is soooooo expensive and I feel like for the food and services they provided the pricing was amazing. Thank you Drea and team for adding to our special day!

Came in for lunch last Friday expecting an even heavier Hawai’ian menu, but was happy to see several Thai options, and a few other Southeast and East Asian flavors. I got the ‘Rama House Hot Summer’, with tofu – ”Medley of veggies stir fried with Thai basil, red curry and coconut milk. Choice of Tofu, Chicken, Spicy Pork, Hawaiian Grilled Beef or Wild Gulf Shrimp. Served with Jasmine rice and Asian slaw.” Perfect light curry over fresh tofu and vegetables, with tasty sides. I went vegetarian this time, but am assuming their meats are on point, too! Great sauce options (see pictures). The Buddha might advise to live in the present moment, but I’m looking forward to my next visit to Buddha Bruddah. Highly recommended!

I moved away from Seattle in 2022 and came back just in the end of 2025. I've been hospitalized most of the time but I decided to get out of the rehab center and go to a couple of places with next to the hair supply store I went to. I moved away to California for health reasons and it's supposed to have some of the best food in the world especially in Mexican food and I will give them the Mexican food but Seattle food is unmatched. All you have to do is go and GrubHub or whatever app you prefer I prefer fantuan in Seattle because they don't charge you an extra $20. I believe that food carriers should be able to get the livable wage and that's why they added the tax on but I shouldn't have to pay it, the company that they work for should pay it so I refuse to do that and there are apps that are better than that which is great. Anyway, I've eaten here twice well to go, I had the huli huli chicken and I had the pad Thai which was just regular but the hula huli chicken was absolutely delicious. The attendant at the register was very kind and I'm very suspicious with everybody at all times so he forgot my receipt and I had him printed out again so I didn't want him to think that I didn't trust him because after I left there I definitely felt very comfortable. The second time I ordered huli huli chicken I was a little bit disappointed because they put hot sauce on it and I did not request that I asked for zero heat so I had to give it to someone else but the pieces that I did have tasted delectable. I usually go to chicken teriyaki places because I know that they know how to burn the teriyaki perfectly but this is a different type of chicken. It's a Hawaiian type chicken and it's right down the street from the VA hospital. They need to advertise their a lot more and they would probably get more business not that they need it. There was a family of Guamanian and Samoan patients that I was ruined with at the VA and they would have been absolutely delighted with this food. They ended up driving all the way to Everett because that's all they knew of Hawaiian foods and they were afraid to try something new or drive around in Seattle. So I definitely think that you guys should advertise more at the VA hospital or just a veterans because I will tell every veteran I know that this food is excellent. I would definitely work on double checking all the orders and if somebody doesn't say they want heat don't make heat the default because most older adults can't deal with the heat. I grew up in socal around Mexican heat dishes and they are obviously different than Asian American dishes because it's two different peppers but heat is heat. I'm definitely not set for Asian heat but I can always work my way back up to being a worthy player at your restaurant so thank you again for making my day because all I do is sit and I rehab center until I'll be let out to get my hip surgery, so you're establishment makes me so comfortable and your employees bend over...

We cannot rant and rave about Buddha Bruddah enough! They catered our wedding and from start to finish they were the best caterers.

For every coordination step along the way, Drea was a consummate professional and extremely helpful. All of the information she provided was incredibly detailed, leaving minimal additional questions or concerns on my end. They were also really easy to work with regarding allergies, we had several people with different allergies and they worked with us to accommodate them. They used tamari instead of soy sauce for our guests with gluten allergies and even made my husband his own serving of mac salad with vegan mayo since he can't eat eggs (and he seldom justifies making it).

Their head bartender Maddie was also excellent to work with. She helped us craft excellent cocktails and made really pretty garnishes to accompany them!

At our wedding, Drea and her staff went above and beyond by beautifully incorporating our leftover flowers into their displays. They even brought some of their own decor to help complete our vision and make everything look put together. All of this was unprompted by us, Drea requested information about our style before our event and took it from there.

Finally, the food was fantastic! My guests keep telling me how amazing it was, they can't stop talking about it weeks later. It’s funny to say so little about what was, arguably, the biggest part of their service; but simply put, it was delicious.

I loved them so much I think I may find an excuse to have them cater another event for me...

My biggest problem with this restaurant is at the end of the meal when I asked the employee how to despose of the plastic containers, she said they were all compostable. I took some leftovers home, so when I checked out the containers are made of plastic 5pp which is not compostable (or even recyclable here anymore). So they are sending tons of noncompostable plastic out in the compost as a practice. Great! (Eye roll) thumbs down for any kind of sustainability practices.

This “restaurant”- the food is mediocre to terrible depending on what you get.

I got phased see ewe, it was ok. I wouldn’t order it again, but I would eat it without sending it back or complaining. Imbalanced flavors and too much soy sauce probably.

My friend got the curry, it was terrible! Had I gotten his meal I would have returned it. It didn’t even taste like curry.

I also ordered to go the coconut prawn meal, I regretted it by the time I got my for-there meal. When I got it home it was as bad as I had expected. The coconut prawn has no flavor, they serve with a from the bottle sweet chili sauce.

I went to this restaurant by chance on my way to another Thai restaurant down the street. We stayed because the stars were higher here, so that’s why I’m writing a review to hopefully bring that rating down. This restaurant shouldn’t have higher than a cumulative 3 star in my opinion. I will not...
