Our group had the pleasure of engaging in the Tomb Raider Experience last night. Ours is a bit of a unique story, but I think it is incredibly worthwhile to share because it speaks to the unbridled care and dedication that the staff and owner of this escape room take to ensure that their guests have an experience to remember! Our experience began on NYE. Unfortunately to us, some issues prevented our group from experiencing the event that we had hoped to have that evening. Being understaffed and having technological issues, however, are out of anyone’s control, so this is not to be held against the establishment at all. Given the unforeseen issues, the staff, especially Alex (pictured below), was super apologetic and took extra time to ensure that our group still left smiling. His genuine level of concern for making sure we were taken care of was noted, and is something that you don’t often see these days in customer service. So, in my opinion, he deserves a raise! On top of this, the owner of the establishment, Seth, also went above and beyond in rectifying this situation with our group. Specifically, not only were we reimbursed, but we were upgrade to a private experience, given additional tickets, free merch, and he was also there the night that we rebooked for ensuring that everything was working properly prior to us having another go at the room! Our original Alex also remembered our group, and made sure that our new Alex took good care of us! It was awesome, and we were made to feel like absolute VIPs!! All this, and we haven’t even gotten to the room yet, lol! The room itself was outstanding! Our group frequents escape rooms, and we were all taken back by the production value of the establishment alone. There are several rooms in this experience, and you have the opportunity to solve various types of puzzles along the way. This gives each member of your group the ability to showcase their skillset! The theatrics were also fun, and I loved how it set the tone for some campy and delightful fun! I am also a fan of having one of the staff playing a role in the room , and subtly pointing you in certain ways if you miss something! Our second Alex did well at this too I will add, even though we were more partial to our first Alex due to our original experience! Our group had mixed opinions on some of the transitions from room to room, but I thought they worked and were consistent with the storyline. The one critique from our group was that Serge’s voice in the helicopter reminded us of Gru from Despicable Me, and was a bit hard to understand…other than that, everything else was wonderful! We appreciate and are grateful for the VIP treatment from everyone at the Tomb Raider Experience! You all went above and beyond, and we can’t thank you enough for your quality customer service and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure our positive experience! I will absolutely continue to recommend to everyone I know that if they haven’t gone to the Tomb Raider Experience yet, they absolutely need to! Thanks again!

This is an incredible attraction! Incredible is an understatement, really. My group did the Lava Temple Tomb Raider room. From the get-go you are immersed in a story that receives an added personal connection by way of the trusty staff-assistant, Alex! He was full-on in-character and acts like a mobile hint system in case you get stuck. He is also just a great guy to talk to and relieve tension mid-escape if you're starting to get overwhelmed. Avery, the receptionist who greeted us warmly and got us checked in, was an equally welcome introduction to a fantastic family experience. Thanks for shaking my hand, Avery, my man 😆 Then, the immense feelings of awe and wonder due to the amazing props and room design are... inescapable 😉 Thankfully, though, I won't want this place to ever escape my memory. Guess I'll take the metaphorical key for my brain and lock this experience up tight. Just like Lara and her tomb raiding expertise, I'm leaving a positive review for those willing to explore the jungle that is Google. Don't hesitate to visit, either with a group of friends or your family! You won't regret it! I'm taking -that- perspective to my tomb. ...er, grave.

If you’re looking for something that blurs the line between a traditional escape room and a full-on immersive experience, Tomb Raider Seattle should be at the top of your list. My group recently took on this adventure, and it easily ranks among the best interactive experiences I’ve tried.

First impressions count, and the team here understands that perfectly. The staff greeted us warmly, explained the premise of the game clearly, and never made us feel rushed or intimidated. Whether you’re a seasoned escape room fan or completely new to immersive experiences, their approachable, enthusiastic manner makes you feel confident and excited to dive in.

Tomb Raider Seattle is much more than solving puzzles in a locked room—it’s designed to feel like you’re stepping onto the set of an adventure film. The storyline is cinematic, putting you in the role of explorers uncovering an ancient tomb with a clear objective and plenty of twists along the way. Unlike some escape rooms where the plot is tacked on as an afterthought, here the narrative unfolds seamlessly as you progress.

Speaking of puzzles, this is where the experience shines. The challenges were definitely on the difficult side, but never so obscure or frustrating that they stopped being fun. Our group had to think creatively and communicate constantly, but with teamwork, everything was solvable. You never felt completely stuck or like you had hit a wall.

What really elevates Tomb Raider Seattle into more than just an escape room is the set design and production value. Every inch of the space is meticulously crafted to transport you into a world of ancient tombs and hidden treasures. From crumbling stone walls to authentic-looking artifacts, you could tell how much thought and craftsmanship went into creating the environment. I’ve done quite a few escape rooms, and this was easily one of the most convincing and atmospheric settings I’ve seen. The lighting, sound design, and decor all work together to create a space that feels genuinely immersive.

Adding to the atmosphere are some clever and entertaining special effects sprinkled throughout the experience. These touches transform the experience from a series of puzzles into something closer to a live-action adventure story. The special effects are used sparingly but effectively, punctuating key moments with just the right amount of excitement.

By the time we emerged victorious (with only a few minutes to spare), everyone in our group was smiling. The combination of challenging gameplay, immersive design, and a compelling storyline made for an experience that felt both thrilling and memorable. You even get a memento to take home.

In a city with plenty of escape rooms to choose from, Tomb Raider Seattle stands out as something truly unique—a cross between an escape room and a fully immersive adventure experience. This experience is absolutely worth your time and I would...

My friends and I are seasoned Escape Room players so we thought this Tomb Raider experience would be fun. We were wrong. First of all we had SO many issues with the Fever app and purchasing our tickets. In the end, my friend paid for each voucher that cost around $65 and we ended up paying around $44 per ticket and got no money back! And after rescheduling, also had to pay around $40 of booking fees! Fever is such a scam!! But the rating I’m giving isn’t even based on Fever, no it’s based on how bad The Tomb Raider experience was.

Fair warning… this is NOT an Escape Room. Because you really don’t escape from anything. In a nutshell, you enter different rooms and the goal is to solve all the puzzles. You don’t even know what the puzzles are, but that’s part of the ‘experience’. Unfortunately none of this was explained to us. And since my friends and I were used to escape rooms, we thought we had to solve puzzles to ‘escape’ the room.

In this experience you have a guide with you, who they refer to as “Alex”, and they’re supposed to help you along the way. But it’s kind of dumb because they try to stay in character and don’t provide much help. At least our Alex didn’t. And we didn’t realize we were just solving puzzles to see how many we could get right… until the very end. And we didn’t even open the rooms because we solved the puzzles, no.. it was Alex who would open them with their little tablet. So lame!

The experience itself is a little silly. You go through two LONG videos at the beginning and the end and you can barely understand the video or what they’re saying. And there’s not much payoff other than the Alex telling you which puzzles you got right. And at the end, they take a bunch of photos that you can’t really prepare for, and have to pay for!! Without seeing them!

So yeah, this whole experience from start to finish was totally not worth the money...
