occupied a unit on the sixteenth floor with a view of Puget Sound. The unit itself reminded me of the utilitarian one-bedroom apartments I lived in when I was in college. It had everything one needed but very little in the way of luxury. What made this place was the view. It was spectacular, and I would have been happy just sitting at the window watching the ferries and container ships come and go. When I travel I like to eat out and then eat in. The kitchen was adequately stocked, and a nearby Target store solved the grocery problem. The bed was comfortable. The WiFi was strong. There were reasonably-sized televisions in both the bedroom and living room. The bathroom had a washer and dryer. I stayed in the winter. The wind against the large windows made for a cold apartment. I was not uncomfortable but had to run the heat the entire time. The location is downtown Seattle. I walked to Pike Market and the ferries. The good food is expensive, and the lousy food is expensive. That is simply a fact of the city. This is not a hotel. There are no maids. You get the towels that you get, and you might want to bring your own soap. On the other hand, there was always someone available when we had a question or a problem.

We stayed at Harbor Steps 2005 for the Holidays and we had a fantastic time. Debra was incredibly helpful and responsive. The price is fair. I have to say the apartment is more spacious than what the photos led me to believe and the view is amazing. Location could not be better. Parking downstairs, a Starbucks reserve coffee downstairs and a Thai restaurant. Across the street from the Art Museum (which was closed) and a block away from a Target store and two blocks to Pike Place Market. We found the apartment to be comfortable, well equipped, and functional for a family of four. We would seriously consider staying in the exact same unit if we were to come back. Recommended!

This was our second stay at this property, and we truly love it. You just cannot beat the view and the location! The weather was incredible during our visit, so we were able to sit on the balcony each night and enjoy a panoramic view of the stunning sunset! We also love being able to walk everywhere, and being so close to so many amazing restaurants, the Link Light Rail, the ferry terminal, etc. In addition, the condo itself is quite comfortable and clean. We truly can't imagine staying anywhere else in...
