As someone who recently visited Pier 55, I have to say that while it has some impressive features, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. While the market and performance venue are beautiful, there were a few downsides to my experience.
First of all, there was a long line to get in, which made for a bit of a frustrating start to my visit. Additionally, there was construction going on around the market, which detracted from the overall atmosphere and made it feel a bit less enjoyable.
Once inside the market, I did find it to be quite overcrowded, which made it difficult to fully appreciate the space. While there were plenty of stalls and vendors selling all sorts of goods, the crowds made it challenging to navigate and browse at my leisure.
Overall, while I can see the appeal of Pier 55, I don't think it quite lived up to the hype for me. The long lines, construction, and overcrowding detracted from the overall experience, and I don't think I would recommend it to others unless they are willing to brave the crowds and potential...

Was able to get some great pics of the Great Wheel and other night time city skylines.
