I found this neat little shop on Monday and spent about an hour in the store looking at all the amazing second hand items they had available. I was offered a large sum of rubber stamps for a specific price and declined, but instead purchased a large bag for a lesser price. My wife (whom I bought the stamps for) loved the ones Id gotten, so I decided to drive the hour back to this business to see if I could purchase them all under the original offer. When I walked in today, I was greeted nicely like before by two women, one of which I explained my situation to. I told her that Id already removed a number of the stamps with my original purchase and would like that to reflect the new transaction ( in other words, the original offer from Monday, nothing more or less) The woman I was working with was very nice and agreed, but out of no where a crazy volunteer appeared and accused me of being rude. I was pretty shocked as the two women and myself were engaged in a great conversation and no arguement or ill will was present. I pride myself on respecting women, but couldn't help but feel this new lady was a hater of all men. This wicked witch showed up on a broomstick and started throwing accusations around, finally admitting she just didnt like "people who dicker" Hopefully a house falls on this wicked old witch as she is very rude, unkind, and DOES NOT belong in a nice business like this one. I would love to shop here, but this aggressive little monster bordered on harassment within the first 5 seconds of...
Read moreBoth times I’ve visited this store, I experienced being deliberately ignored even when I asked for help. On one occasion, I was browsing the zipper section when a staff member left the store, walked outside, and stood by the window next to me, watching from outside. When I turned around, she was pretending to read something on the window, squinting at it, though there was nothing posted there. It was bizarre and felt extremely passive-aggressive. The staff also seem quick to make rude comments if you spend whatever they think is a long time in one aisle. The store has a lot of inventory to sift through, so taking time shouldn’t be a problem. Instead of offering assistance, they hover and watch you like you’re doing something wrong. Overall, I found the atmosphere uncomfortable and...
