The Cyber Power Systems (CPS) is quite a ‘unique’ one: per my just less than 2-month experience, so many, a dozen at least, of its tech’s are simply either don’t care, don’t know, or both, about what they are advising, saying/replying (if ever they do that) or promising. Despite my several chats with the tech’s and explanations of what I need to achieve, their advice to implement RMCARD205 was wrong - I purchased it, and on a very next day had to replace it by the RCCARD100. On top of that, it was followed by a ‘saga’ to obtain from the tech’s a clarity on the advertised 3-years free trial. - Still goes on, BTW. More so, all my purchases - cards, UPS - went through the official distributor, advertised on the CPS’s web page, who accepted and processed the exchange for the correct (and 4 times cheaper!) card. But now, for several weeks, I cannot receive the refund from them. - Yet another trust to the CPS and yet another ‘saga’ as a result. Long story short: the low rating of the company is in ‘harmony‘ with my experience with them. If you don’t want those ‘sagas’ with their service - stay away from it, and save your...
Read moreShelby Lovett, claims manager, has been very difficult and rude to deal with. It’s been 55 days with no updates. I submitted my surge protector for warranty and reimbursement of damaged items and I get an attitude when I request some sort of info. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences ever!!! Update: I received my claim letter and my claim was denied. They couldn’t tell me what tests were performed, and now I have a damaged tv, home theater receiver and PS4 that are all damaged while being connected to their surge protector. GARBAGE PRODUCT AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Would not recommend this product to anyone. Spend a little more and get a...
Read moreJunk, after one year of use out 1300watt unit would randomly lose power even with power being supplied to the unit. It's done it over a dozen times. Tech support blames the problem on a reset button, what's connected, outlets used. The problem is these are reasons why people buy these units. Once charged and while having a battery with charge the last thing these units should do is power off with no notice. You'll lose data and be in the dark. We used APS before in the same configurations and settings, never a problem. We reached them after 10 years due to battery issues and price but as long as APS had battery power they...
