I had actually stood at this place for about a month and got to know the staff pretty well. I was really impressed. For someone as myself who actually knows the neighborhood intimately. Plus grew up in a house of 3 extremely clean OCD women who did nothing but clean every single day like it's spring cleaning, that my mother actually started a cleaning service company from the bottom up. All from cleaning a patient's home for free because she is a firm believer that all around cleanliness inspires tranquility. She was offered a job cleaning the patient's employers house. She also loves her job deeply and take pride in her work. If you don't feel that she did her job to perfection, she will come right back and at no charge, won't stop cleaning until your 100% happy. Then she clean an hour more. Lol that's her motto. And the American Best Value in made me feel as if I was home. Extremely friendly and extremely vigilant. I work taking 360 degree VR Pic and 360 degree Pic of Businesses And Tourist Spots for map applications plus videos. So I am 75% of the time in my room and the rest of the time I take pic. Only sleep during downloads 🙂and the 1st time the Manger Carla noticed me, ( I didn't even see her) seem to come out of no where just to make sure I was a guest. But she was very polite about it. She was serious and all about security but not in an offense way. I was pleased & grateful knowing my family and belongings where safe. If anyone who knows or are from the neighborhood will tell you that Hotels and motels on a main HWY like HWY 99 that is located in a major city can draw individuals who come from the wrong side of the tracks. So finding a hotel, motel or Inn who take pride in keeping there rooms clean, add extra cameras, always seems to be upgrading rooms regularly. Have newer smart TV's with cable and actually a variety of good breakfast. Super fast wifi, Parking on both the front & back of the establishment ( for those couples seeking privacy) They also have a 1 bedroom & studio apt style rooms w/ Jacuzzi's that have built in jets for total relaxation. Ever since the new owners like Jason and Managers like Carla, the establishment is truly resembling a 5 star hotel than an actual Inn. Please keep up the great work. I will recommend this place to anyone. Honesty & security are really hard to find. But to find an Inn who can offer great services and still be competitive and affordable while standing behind the motto " IF YOU FIND A BOOKING SITE WHOSE PRICES ARE CHEAPER THAN THE OFFICAL AMERICAN BEST VALUE INN WEBSITE, THEY WILL MATCH THE PRICE" Is completely rare. So for all that, I give The American Best Value Inn 10 Stars, if 5...

We checked in and started walking to the elevator which is behind a door that requires a code. Before we even got to the door we were overwhelmed by a disgusting smell that I can only describe as rotten crotch. We opened the door to make it to the elevator and the smell only got worse. Up the elevator to the 4th floor and into the hall, still smelly. Got to our room where it smelled strongly of bleach. You know the type of smell where it’s clear they are trying to cover something up. There was a new chair in the room but no amount of new furniture can erase the stickiness of the floor. Dropped our bag off and headed out to attend a birthday party we were visiting for. Walked out into the hall and that smell hit us like a brick in the face. My husband then described it as rotten seafood. After going to the party we decided that we just couldn’t stay here. We grabbed our stuff and immediately checked out and drove the 3 hours back home.

We’ve stayed at some sketchy places through out the years. Some cheaper than this place. My husband has also done a lot of traveling and has stayed in cheap places around the world. This was the line. You should never walk into a hall of a hotel or into your room and instantly feel dirty.

We should’ve known when the lady at the front desk took a copy of our licenses and my credit card. When we asked why, she said if there is a dispute on the charge then there’s proof that it was us that used it. She said they get a lot of disputes. I can only imagine it’s people that have stayed or planned to stay and then left and disputed the charge because of the state of the place.

When we checked out the gentleman was very nice and apologetic so at least they have that...

Rooms Pros - TV, somewhat clean, working heater/conditioner, Good shower and bathroom. Cons - Really firm beds, More comfortable just to sleep on the ground, They allow pets to stay with a 25$ fee. For what it is, the room is far to expensive per night.

Staff - Some miscommunication happened; in which despite paying for the one day, it required me to pay for two days despite only staying for one day. as for the service they quickly responded to a noise complaint due to a neighbor being rather loud, (Yelling, laughing, slamming doors) at 4 am in the morning. Despite the call they unfortunately did not shut up.

Overall had I known the information that I do now, given the same circumstances, I would not rent a room from this place again. For the price, it does not provide the quality that should be there. 85$ + a pet fee of 25$, This also depends on what time you get there, For example if you get there at 1 Am, you will need to pay for 2 days if you plan on checking out on that same day; this type of policy is really confusing, and honestly makes me feel like there just trying to take as much money as they can out of you, that being (The owners) and not the staff.

Overall, the staff is great, The rooms are crap for sleeping in, your paying 85$ for a...

Nice quiet place, friendly staff. They didn't let us thru with one extra child and they gave us breakfast for all. The best were clean and nearly done. There were bath towels in the bathroom, hand towels iron, hair drier... It had all the necessary stuff. It was missing hangers to hang up coats. There was a nice small tv. An a/c / heater system which was great. Once we checked (anytime after 2) in then we were given a sheet where we had to tuck off what we wanted for breakfast. We were on the second floor so there was a code we were given to get in through the door and there was an elevator to go 1 level up. Great value for money, very comfortable, very clean and would definitely recommend any time There is lots of parking at the venue but that night it got full up, so be back early. The office is drigt

Upon checking in, we found cockroaches in the room. Then the employee tried to tell us it wasn’t a cockroach on the picture we took inside the room, when it clearly is. Also, the descriptions of the rooms are not up to date. This inn told me they would work out a refund if I contacted the booking service, and instead they snaked around and would not refund us even though we checked out within 10 minutes of checking in. I would never recommend anyone to stay here. Horrible location as well.

Basic budget motel, but a base for the night. Easy short drive to local beaches, parks and Edmonds. Rooms were clean and everything in working order. Worth the price I paid and for a passing through place or night stay. Wouldn't recommend for a longer stay. 30 mins drive from the airport and 20 mins from downtown Seattle.
