Let me just say this before leaving my rating. I once loved the home goods store. I used to shop there at least 3-5 times a week. I would spend around 4 grand a month because I'm an interior designer and they have great products with low prices. However, it's starting to look like a hoarders dream. As soon as you walk in, you are bombarded with merchandise. It's hard to squeeze through especially when you are pushing a buggy. I also noticed some of the cashiers up front just leaning on displays, and playing on their phones and I've never in my life seen a store manager that's always on his phone (mind you, he's using his headset so it looks like he's talking to himself). I can't tell you how many days I've had to go up to home goods twice for a client and he was on the phone at 10 a.m. and I went back at 3 pm and he's walking out the back still on the phone! And mind you, I'm in there for hours each trip I make. I think maybe he should set an example and not be on his phone the entire work shift. I was a store manager a couple of years ago for Dillards and if I was on my phone 7 hours a day, I would have been FIRED immediately. And like I said before, I used to love home goods, then they switched up management and from that moment on, the store has gone to hell. I don't go as often anymore but when I do go, everything I just mentioned is still happening...
Read moreI will never shop at home goods or any company associated with home goods. I bought these pans 5 days ago, I cooked on them 1 time and after washing and running through the dishwasher, this is how they look. Nearly $40 on 2 pans and they look awful after just one use. My pans were old and ugly so I threw them away and bought new ones and the new ones look worse than the old ones. Of course I'd try to return them, anyone would. But Charlotte said she cant return them because of the condition they're in. Ive worked in customer service, I've had a man return a half eaten bag of chips because they were nasty and destroyed dog toy because his dog chewed it up in a day. If the customer does not like your product, they have a right to their money back. As a business owner myself I would never treat my customers like this, ever! Here's a photo of the pans and the receipt showing that I spent $40 and purchased them 5 days ago. Even if I did use them everyday for those 5 days, they shouldn't look like this. I can't even imagine how gross they'd look after 5 uses if this is just from one. Since she wont return my pans I'll be taking back everything I bought and getting all my money back. I will not let a company like this have any of my money.
Edit* I contacted corporate and got my refund. You should be...
Read moreHaving a HomeGoods in Shreveport is awesome! I love these stores! When the Shreveport location opened, it was GREAT! Tons of very nice products filled all the shelves and employees were available and extremely friendly. Unfortunately, the last 2 times that I've been in the store, I've been disappointed. A couple of weeks ago, an employee was picking up items & talking to herself about how much she liked each item. A couple of other employees were standing talking and the manager walked by and never spoke. I thought maybe it was an "off" day, but my experience today wasn't much better. - An employee walked by me, I moved to the side & said "excuse me", and she never spoke or acknowledged me. Also, Three of the aisles I wanted to go down had carts blocking them with no employee around any of them, and a few aisles had merchandise piled everywhere to a point that you could hardly shop around all of it. This is such a nice store and the cashiers are always friendly; however, I am concerned that it isn't being managed as well as other...
