I arrived an hour before closing on a Saturday looking for a specific book, I couldn't find it anywhere on the shelves unfortunately as I learned this book is in high demand right now. It was 5 minutes before closing when I decided I'd looked enough and I'd have to ask the person behind the mountain of books at the counter for help. I don't remember his name unfortunately but he was incredibly polite and super helpful.
I'd asked if they had a catalog I could look at to see if they had the book at all and instead he walked me over to the section it should have been in to make sure it wasn't there. He then asked if he could take a day or two to look for it and also even offered to order a copy for me. He took down my name and number and a few days later I got the follow up from him letting me know that they unfortunately did not have it.
Despite that, this had been the best experience with a used book store that I've had in the area and I will definitely be returning the next time I'm looking for more books.

My only real complaint is that they have a smallish LGBTQ+ and the gender studies sections, though I can't hold it against them too much as this is par for the course even in the...
