This might be what a white collar prison looks and feels like! The only sea near here is the pool and the rock (Sea Rock) would be the brain of the person that did the outfitting of these rooms. Let me start with all the things this room does not have: drinking glasses, a chair for the desk, art/decorations, lamps, hangers, a closet, a hair dryer, a clock/alarm, a tub stopper, a coffee maker, and more. Calling this a hotel is the biggest misstatement I have ever seen related to a room for rent. Motel might be a stretch. The area is a little sketchy but the parking, at least, was easy and there are a lot of amenities nearby. There is absolutely No Hospitality provided by the hotel operator. I think I got ripped off on the price I paid, which with fees and taxes was $125 a night for a Monday and Tuesday. This was one of the most, if not the most, unpleasant Motel stays that I've ever had and I stayed in a lot of sketchy places during ten years on the road. Thank God the beds were usable but the other shortcomings overshadowed anything positive about the motel. I even sent a message to the motel operator asking if we could get a chair for the desk, as some pictures show them, but the request fell on deaf ears. Stay anywhere else, probably for less money, or find a decent hotel for this money and you'll be a lot happier.

We had a wonderful experience here! Our family was affected by the worldwide Crowdstrike outage, and our flight was canceled. We had to scramble to find a hotel nearby. I chose this one for the price, and that it had a 3 queen suite (with a private room). It was perfect for our family of 5. I was there early, before check-in, but they still placed us in our desired room immediately, which was very appreciated! The private room could do with a nightstand, extra outlets, a lamp, and maybe an additional dresser or something to fill the extra space, but it was still nice to have privacy from our kids. The pool was clean and refreshing, and we loved it! The staff were very helpful! I needed to use their laundry, and the man at the front desk threw in the detergent and softener for free. The location is really nice, with a few restaurants within walking distance, with a bigger shopping area with more food options to drive to down the road. There is no continental breakfast, but for how small it is, I didn't expect it. It's a straight shot to the beach. Not far from the airport. Quiet despite being next to a major road. The area felt clean and safe. If we're ever in Long Beach again, I'd stay here again. Would definitely recommend it!!!

Pros: I don’t want to actually say any because the cons outweigh the pros. Cons: 1.) The parking lot is bad and there is not enough parking. I had to park a quarter-mile away in a neighborhood and walk in the dark. I was terrified my car was going to be broken in to. If it was, how would I know? My car was a quarter mile away… I didn’t even go on a holiday weekend. Imagine how bad the parking is then? You may have to park up to a half mile away. 2.) The curtains let in a bunch of light. If you wake up easily from the light, you’re going to have to wake up at sunrise. 3.) When you check in, they make you sign a piece of paper saying you won’t post a review without the manager’s permission. So… The owners know this place has problems and are trying to stop people from sharing that information. I post this review because they have no legal standing to enforce that and I definitely won’t stay again.

I learned about this motel through a coworker who was staying there. We were in town for work in the Wilmington Valero refinery and we're scheduled to be in town for 4 to 5 weeks. When I arrived in asked for a non smoking rooms yet I was given a smoking rooms due to "lack of availability" which I later learned was not true. I was given one of the older smoking rooms because as do most places we rent, they assume that because we are oil and gas employee so we are dirty and will destroy the rooms. I personally saw 5 other rooms that were vacant and we're in better condition than mine (due to vacant rooms having their windows left open). The room didn't smell to bad until I turned the a/c. Then it smelled like an ash tray. The carpet was dingy and filthy looking as was the couch, the comforter and the entire room in general. My complaints are: The TV was small and hardly worked, the mini fridge had rust in it, there was only 2 plugs in the entire room which forced me to have to shave and charge my phone one the dresser which also only allowed me to have 2 items plugged in at a time, the shower curtain had obviously not been changed in over a year, tub and toilet were blackened and dirty looking, the bed was loud from the sound of the plastic bed liner crunching under you, the sheets were dirty and full of stains, the curtains in the room had to be tied up so that air would actually flow into the room and not be trapped behind them. The cleaning service is rather persistent in wanting to clean and change your towels (which I didn't use). The walls are suoer thin and have holes all over them. I could hear my coworkers talking and i was in room 210 and they were in 207. I would have left sooner, but as they do not issue refunds I had to stay a week. One of the employees knocked on the door so loud I thought it was LAPD or someone trying to break in. He rudely told me that it was checkout time and I needed to hurry up and pay or leave. He quickly changed his tune when confronted about his attitude. Parking is limited and was sometimes unavailable. They also have some sketchy looking people that rent there, like the loud, half naked cross dresser that was in the room next to mine and liked...
