Best Location! Atop Pacific Coast Hwy-EZ in & out-Great View Jack in the Box is arguably Southern California"s best brand burger chain concept-it has more of a foodie & gourmet inspiration than at least the other 5 big brand concepts...if you get there at 11, you can still order breakfast unlike that McIrish brand, and your not paying $10plus for a combo unlike that royalty King brand, and you actually can fit in the drive thru and not wrapped around the block because its the thing to do unlike that 'IN of the block AND forever waiting OUT brand,definitely not what a hamburger is ll about. And Jack"s offers a better food product without making you wait forever unlike Carlos Sr. son Carl. Yes Jr. makes you wait forever and youre the only car in drive thru.. Finally Jack's offer an all- Anerican burger, its round not square on a round bun unlike Cindys or Mindys or whatever Windy weather blows. My perks are you get Tacos at 2 in the morning and everyone else is closed. Me? I enjoyed a gorgeous Sunday afternoon spaciously at Jack in the Box filling up on a combo; enjoying the view and counting my blessings as well as the money I saved not...

I hate leaving bad reviews but I will when I feel strong enough about leaving one. Where to begin. I used to work at this location around 1992. I worked here for 2 years and was my first job. I had two gold rings I was forced to be removed from management and they were stolen. I never received them back but the manager was fired. What about my gold rings? I still had love for the tacos with pickles and remained to be a loyal customer even though some bad experiences working there. Have had quite a few instances where I'm missing my sauces or my fries, soda with no syrup, etc. Today, I felt like having my tacos with pickles and was asked how many slices I wanted per taco. I thought, wow they have great customer service to ask how many I wanted. Then was told it's .15 per slice of pickle. So I asked since when did they start this that I've been a customer for many years. So I asked, do you deduct .15 per slice of pickle for those many customers who hate pickles. The answer is no and the price is a fixed price. The point is the price you have on the menu must include the meat, cheese if any, pickles apparently, onions, bun, lettuce, etc. Start deducting .15 off every item not wanted, per item, per guest. I was here at 3am today bc one of only places open this late and I’ve had bad service at the Jacks near Long Beach City College. So there drive thru claimed “open 24/7” was closed but they had opened the dinning room and there was more than a few ppl there which is surprising for the time. I got in line and a bit later she says “were closed” and I’m thinking if this is the “new drive thru” that never closes how are you closed. Women claimed drive thru had broke and some other story about registers down? And I said to her “how do you randomly close at 3:05am? So my guess is either they were lazy and didn’t want to deal with breakfast change over plus customers or had to close dinning room to prepare it for the 5am breakfast change over? Plus soda machine said “out of order” so no one could get a re-fill. Who knows the truth but I just don’t like being lied too it’s not hard to lock the door so you don’t have to turn customers away from inside nor is it hard to say “we have to close to prepare for breakfast”. Of the 3 jacks off PCH in LB(all 3 about 2 mi apart) I’ve had bad experiences at all of them except the one up closer to Rte 22. It’s seems to me that these Jacks put there worst ppl...
