Long Beach Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Long Beach

I found this restaurant on Yelp and based on the reviews there decided to give it a try. I have driven on that very street several times and have never noticed it until today. Ambience at the restaurant is great. It's cozy, clean and well maintained. The food too was very good and surprisingly, not that expensive. I would visit this place just for the food. However, the reason I knocked off the 2 stars is, there is no host/hostess to meet you when you enter the restaurant. After waiting around for around 10 minutes (I visited this place on a Saturday at 7pm and I noticed that the place was not crowded at all the time), I was asked to choose any seat. After seating myself and my friend at a random seat, we browse through the menu for 5 minutes and decide on our order. It takes another 15-20 minutes for some one to come over to our table and take our order. I was very disappointed by the bad service. Mind you, I would not have ranted about the service had there been a rush. So, please do yourself a favor and order take out as the food is awesome if you don't want to have to...

I love the food here but the customer service is pretty bad. I've gone here about 8 times with coworkers but have always had a horrible experience when going by myself or with any one other person. My feeling is that when I'm here with my all co-workers who are mostly Asian I get better treatment. On one of my visits alone I got my appetizer and drink at the very end of my meal. On my most recent visit(01/03/18) I couldn't even get someone to take my order for about 15 min and when they finally did it was a painful experience trying to get my simple order understood by a waiter whom I've dealt with and ordered from on multiple occasions. When my food finally arrived it was all wrong and my waiter spilled juice from another plate of food into my food and refused to see it as any big deal. That's same visit we were not given any utensils(i.e. chopsticks) nor did we get our drinks till I was just about to leave. I would suggest to anyone that they eat elsewhere rather then suffer through this establishments horrific service that's slow even when the place is...

Hey it’s me again. Here to kinda ruin ur reviews like u ruined my day. I must inform the public and bring this particular situation to light. I come here a lot. 3-4 times a week sometimes. They know exactly how I want things. I’m easy going and a great tipper in my opinion. Today let me express myself by saying I haven’t ate. So I go to a place I come to often just so they can serve everyone else they’re food while I watch questioning how did that even happen if they came after me and I myself also order noodles? As I was getting more and more upset because EVERYONE THAT CAME AFTER ME AND ORDERED AFTER ME.. got their food.. I went to pay the cashier who know that I’m a regular try to explain the situation that I was forgotten about and they lost my receipt.. poor excuse and super bad customer service...and definitely a bad way too treat your customer.. Please anyone reading this who understands anything about loyalty. DONT COME HERE.
