Meier's Wine Cellars Inc — Attraction in Silverton

I really really loved Meirs Wine Cellar on Plainfield Road. When I moved here from Tx. I found this place, and got to taste their Red Seedling Wine, and I was hooked It is absolutely delicious. You could get the great big magnum and it wouldn’t cost you $300. It was just a really good price, $14.00. I’ve got all kind of cute magnets over the years. I was incapacitated for several months and somebody told me that they had closed the and I tried and tried and tried to get a hold of somebody, well today. I finally did. They know longer have their gift shop, and they no longer sell the wine. The lady that I spoke with said that the owners decided to go in a different direction. And they were the top wine cellar in the state of Ohio and have the best reputation made me very, very sad when I found out that they don’t sell the wine anymore, and the girl that I spoke with did not know who I could go to to try to find out about the different wines that they had something similar or anything she just didn’t know much at all or anything so I decided to post and let everybody know that Meirs was no longer open to public any longer on Plainfield Road. The wine at Meier's Wine Cellar is incredible. The winery is kid friendly, and has outdoor games. Guests are welcome to bring their own food as Meier's currently offers chips and salsa and cheese and crackers. There is an interesting history as well, as the winery is well over a century old. Did I mention that the wine is excellent? On the last Friday of every month DJ Lady D entertains. She is a sweet and loveable person, great with kids, and is happy to take requests. TRUCK DRIVERS !!! The address does not match the physical location of where you are getting loaded. If your driving on Montgomery Rd, you are going to turn onto Section rd. Be advise that section road is extremely narrow and tight but it is the correct way to go.
