Every great once in a while, the service is so exceptional it remains a stand out. This happened a few weeks back at the Michaels on Fairview in Simpsonville. My friend and I were indecisive about finding just the right frames for a handful of photos and cards, and Susan approached us. She explained she had a parcel to wrap for a pick-up and then would be right with us. We went to the cashier to purchase what we had found so far, and an amazing young woman, Katherine, responded to our inquiries about the certificates on the wall to support children with back to school supplies. Katherineās genuine enthusiasm for the program was contagious and we eagerly helped her add to her collection. By now, Susan was available and she unwrapped our purchases, and with her knowledge and expertise helped us beautifully arrange two frames to hang on walls and one collage to stand alone. Neither of us has ever met with two such lovely ladies, each talented in her own way, both gracious, kind and caring. You bet, weāre regulars at this Michaels now! ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI worked on a large framing project with Donna Shelton in the Michael's of Simpsonville Frame shop. It was a unique project with corrugated material for the largest commission I've had to date. Donna had great suggestions on framing techniques, coloring, etc. for using the corrugated material and I was shocked at how she treated the project as it was her own. Truly amazing and so well organized, it took the stress out of getting the work framed and the client is thrilled. A special thank you to Donna for taking a late lunch and all the prep work she put in to maximize the framing time during the day for the project. She truly was an amazing representation to both the large corporate client and myself of Michaels. If there is anything I can do to support and get her or the store more recognition on such a great job on the series of 4ft cardboard pieces she did for me, just let me know and...

She was rude and told me she had to go to the register and didn't know what I was talking about. 10 min later a floor person told me she didn't know who moved the whole store around but she didn't know what I was talking about. I asked for gold car model paint I knew it was in a case and told her we just needed to find the case . She rolled her eyes and told me they didn't carry it. We were standing right in front of the case when she said that and walked off. I waited like 5 min . Put everything right down on the ground in front of the model paint and left.. I called the Greenville office they never called me back. They don't need my...
