Painting with a Twist — Attraction in Skippack Township

I chose Painting with a Twist in Skippack as the venue for my sister's baby shower and they went above and beyond to make the party amazing. Before the event, I worked directly with Stefani who was a fantastic event coordinator. She responded promptly to all my questions, we communicated back and forth and she was able to accommodate all of my requests. After confirming details of the shower, I asked if Stefani if she could plan a "paint by numbers" type of canvas that everyone at the event could contribute to painting, to then reveal the baby's name at the end of the shower; she nailed it and the canvas was absolutely gorgeous and will be hung above the baby's crib. I loved working with Stefani! She made the process of booking the venue super easy and brought my vision of the party details to life.

Shane was our instructor the day of the shower. He was also phenomenal. He was very talented, knowledgeable, kind and checked in many times with me to make sure pacing was going well and to see if there was anything else that could be done. When I take another class here in the future, I hope I get Shane as the instructor again!

This shower was this past weekend (1/19/25) when the area had a big snowstorm and the Eagles made it into the playoffs. I reached out to see if we could change the times slightly and try to wrap up faster to get everyone home safely in the snow and to watch the Eagles (Go Birds!), and they made sure to accommodate those requests as well.

Overall, this was a wonderful experience. There were 40 guests and all of them made a point to tell us how much fun they had and that they loved the studio. Not only did the event go well, but they even had a great Spotify playlist playing and a disco ball going which brought an extra element of fun to the venue! I strongly suggest this venue for your next fun night out! I know some of my family members and I are already planning another night here soon just because of how much fun we had at the shower.

Really not sure how this place has such great reviews. The way these painting classes should work is a step by step guide on what to paint in basic shapes and exact colors. A paint by numbers without the lines. We made a pumpkin painting and there was almost no instruction, told us to use one of the two paint brushes and draw the lines and circle of pumpkin in chalk, that was it. The “instructor” would just start painting things on his canvas not expanding anything. I should have know better since he said at the beginning this was “the advanced class” which was his was of saying he wasn’t instructing us and you had to figure it out on your own. This is what they had online, and a blurred picture of what he did, which was much worse than mine and the online reputation. This class is supposed to be fun and carefree. If I wanted to follow the picture they had online to my best ability I would have just bought a $5 canvas and did it myself. 7/29 was my birthday and one thing I love to do is go to painting with a twist. See I normally go to jenkintown because it’s closer to my home. I never not once had a bad experience until I went to skippack. The lady just walked around not helping or even seeing that her drawling was way off. I’ve done this painting three times at jenkintown and I never was disappointed. Going to jenkintown you get the best results and the best experience ever. I had the worst experience at skippack that I ended up sitting there waiting for help to the point where it was two people and they didn’t even care that I needed help. I will never go back to skippack ever. I was so upset with the fact that the studio was small with minimal people and didn’t get help at all. Jenkintown be a lot of people and you always get the help to guide you. I ended up walking out not doing the painting and lost money by doing that. The worst birthday ever.
