Behind the server's very welcoming, jolly presentation was someone who couldn't get our order straight.

Another server came over to her table and told me I confused the other server when ordering. This is unacceptable; and she couldn't either understand our order.

Then she brought us the wrong appetizer items. After that she mixed up our dinners when serving the six of us by placing the wrong dinners with different members of our party of 6. For example, she mixed up a veal dish with a chicken dish.

We waited over an hour and a half for our meal.

No one in management took an interest in the situation.

I've been there a number of times, experiencing a number of small issues. This was the last time. Too much chaos, too much inability to understand orders, too much inability to respect the customer.

When speaking with a manager about our dining experience, she explained that they were extremely busy that night. We’re willing to give it another try, as we do find the food and atmosphere enjoyable. We look forward to a better overall experience during...

This used to be one of my go to places for Italian food when I'm home. Perhaps I got used to better Italian food in NYC or maybe the quality has decreased, but the food was simply quite average. I got the gnocchi and it was just alright. The garlic knots which are usually fantastic were not warm and felt kind of stale.

The main issue today was that my friends and I wanted to order some drinks, however we were met with some trouble. They claimed that some of our IDs did not scan. That is impossible because we are all over 21. The employee tried a "gotcha" on us because 2 IDs said "not for real id purposes". That refers to the federal standard. If someone was using a fake ID, why would they use one that said fake ID on it. It seems like the employee had something out for us and lied that thr IDs didn't scan. It's pretty remarkable an establishment in Pennsylvania doesn't know what a Pennsylvania drivers license looks like. Perhaps there was another motivating factor for making...

We've been frequenting Basta Pasta and almost weekly for the past six weeks and have thoroughly enjoyed our meals! We're particularly fond of the gluten-free pasta with oil, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach. We appreciate the restaurant's efforts to accommodate our vegan and gluten-free needs. However, we've noticed that occasionally cheese is added to our pasta, despite our repeated requests for it to be omitted. (We know it’s standard to put in on top, it’s their signature move, but I think the person taking the order might not be relating to them we are vegan when I say it each time) We understand that this may be an oversight, and we'd greatly appreciate it if the kitchen could pay extra attention to these specific dietary requirements. Overall, we highly recommend Basta Pasta for its delicious food and friendly service. We look forward to continuing to enjoy our meals there...

Went to Basta Pasta as a group of 6 and had a great time. The portions were large and the food was delicious. My chicken parm hit the spot and I took half of it home wjth me…actually everyone at the table took leftovers home! We didn’t order any pizza but it looked good- other than my chicken parm my table mates ordered pasta dishes. We did order fried mozzarella and calamari as apps- good portions and both were tasty. They have a few beers on draft plus a wine and beer fridge. There’s also a cocktail menu- to me it looked like some of the drinks were more summer-y (since it’s November) but maybe they don’t update the cocktail menu often. All of the menus on the website were accurate and the restaurant uses a QR code to take you to the menu on the website to order from. It’s definitely good casual Italian dining. The parking lot fills up quickly so we parked in the lot across the street.

I was visiting the area last year and looking for a spot to meet an old friend. He recommended this place, knowing I love Italian/pasta. We arrived for a late lunch, around 2pm and it was empty, so we had our pick of the tables and opted for the outdoor/porch area- luckily it wasn't too cold outside. Our server was friendly and attentive, brought our menus and water immediately. I went with the penne florentine and a glass of rose while my friend ordered a panini. We both enjoyed our meals and had a great time catching up. The pasta portion was huge so I had leftovers to finish later at the hotel! Decent price and value, would recommend if you are in the area.

Date Night here with Wifey. No reservations accepted for a party of 2, but we got there early at 6pm so plenty of tables. (It got really busy at 8pm as we left.) We sat on the patio because it was a warm Fall evening, but then it got windy and cool. Luckily someone walked around and lowered plastic screens. Guy playing guitar and singing was great. Drinks were very good, garlic knots and olive oil was great, chicken soup was good but overpriced, and our entrees were good. Our server Tom was friendly and attentive.
