I recently chose Skippack Village Italian Market to cater my sister's baby shower event and the food was absolutely phenomenal. I worked with Bob, who is in charge of their catering services. He went above and beyond to communicate quickly with me and answer any questions I had - even about chafing dish sizes and the quantity of Sterno dishes I needed as I had never used them before! Our food was fantastic. We ordered for a party of 40 people and had plenty of leftovers which we enjoyed eating for the next couple days afterward as well. We had the baked ziti, meatballs, fresh bread (baked that day), bruschetta salad, Italian house salad, tortellini salad and a hoagie tray with a few different types of hoagies. Every one of our guests mentioned how delicious the food was. I thought the price of the food was fair and they had it ready right on time for us to pick up.
Thank you to Bob and the Skippack Village Italian Market for a wonderful catering service that many enjoyed!!! I'll be back soon to try more of your...
Read moreOkay so my review might be a little bit different than most because I've never actually sat here and eaten like you do when you go out to a restaurant. So I don't really know that side of this place at all. But they have this little deli and store and I have stopped in numerous times to get a hoagie, and checked out the other offerings they have in their cooler cases. This place has a lot of really great stuff, if you want to bring home a meal for your family or grab a lunch, they have a lot of interesting soups in what seems to be like quart containers, and all sorts of pre-made meals and the sandwiches are exquisitely awesome. It's a first rate deli /general store kind of place. And the employees have helped me out when I have had a sleepy baby in the back of the car they have let me pull up to their curb and brought my sandwich to the car for me. You can't beat that for service. I absolutely love the tuna hoagies although I have to tell them not to put oil and vinegar on them... But they have...
Read moreI never go out of my way to leave bad reviews because it feels rude and I don't want to interfere with people's business but I feel morally obligated with this one. Stopped in because I love Italian food and a good sandwich, figured an Italian market would be okay but I was mistaken. Chicken cutlet was literally disgusting. Basically seemed like a few cold, dry, flavorless chicken nuggets torn up and thrown onto a dry stale roll. The veggies on it were not fresh and flavorless. I'm basically a rat when it comes to food and can scarf down anything but I had to throw this out! Totally gross and made with 0 care. On top of that, apparently what they mean by Italian market is a few (expired) "italian" spices and peppers that you can find cheaper in the supermarket? Employees were also cold and standoff-ish. Not a happy environment at all. Does not live up to it's name. Actually ruined my day. Might as well go to wawa next door. Sad! 11 bucks I'll...
