Edited to add: I’ve attached a screenshot of the owners response to my review, which is now conveniently deleted from here.
It’s disgraceful that a business owner would respond like this, all because they don’t like a one star review. The response to my review is entirely why I gave one star in the first place. There was a condescending attitude the night I was in, and now an even more condescending tone from the owner himself.
I hope people see this review and decide to take their business elsewhere.
And to the owner personally, a quick google search should clear up for you that a double is, “double the alcohol but the same amount of ingredients”. It’s your choice to charge your customers ridiculous prices and another to not be up front in how you’re going to charge them double what most places do. A simple conversation with a paying customer would have sufficed over you unnecessarily trying to attack my character & deflect. You must be a real gem to know.
Just finished having my first experience here and it was severely disappointing. Food was decent but certainly not anything special if you dine out often. Service was slow but my friend and I tried our best to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere in the mean time. On to the real issue…
I ordered two double mixed drinks. These are the same drinks I order anytime I go out, and they’re pretty standard as a Moscow Mule. Our server asked if I’d like a tall glass or the traditional copper mug. I figured he was being considerate and I told him go ahead with the pint glass so the ratio was tasteful. Fast forward to our check and I was charged for 4 Moscow Mules at $48 when I drank 2 of them.
From Philadelphia to out of state, I have NEVER been charged $48 for 2 double drinks. When my friend and I tried connecting with staff about this we instead got attitude and justifications on their end. I was hoping for an apology and recognition on their end of the need to be more transparent in pricing. We were never offered a manager. We tipped our server a standard rate and left.
This is my first google review and seems necessary. I will never visit this restaurant again and encourage others to rethink...

The atmosphere of Park is super cool, I love the mid 1800's remodeled building. Everything is clean, original and the decor is tasteful. The entrance area has a small bar that saddles an outside area for the temperature-friendly months.
The dinner menu is all we had available during our first visit. The food is definitley geared towards French culinary which results in rich, busy and complex plating that might not be for everyone. The dinner menu is not geared toward children, with the exception of the pizza and deserts.
Alchohol is available and there's some basics as well as some reserved offerings from beer to wine to liquor. Very good range from which to choose.
Service was spot on, our server was the best I've ever seen - at restraunts, cruises, you name it. She recited a lengthy, complex specials list from memory, without hesitation as if a teleprompter was scrolling on the wall. Drinks we're never without, exceptional attendance and demeanor.
Feedback - The location is directly in the middle of crowded Skippack and buildings, entrance ways and parking can be confusing at times. I had a GPS maps app running that brings you directly to your destination on foot. Even with that, we found it difficult to find the entrance of the restraunt.
Feedback - The menu has some offerings for kids but I didn't notice any section of the menu geared towards that. If I owned Park, I would make a slight change providing more offerings in which children are typically interested. Having a smaller portion, "all your own" plate can be exciting and us parents get more enjoyment out of watching our happy kids than anything else. Honestly, the kids LOVED the pizza, super good!
Go try Park, we'll be back especially to hang out at the lower bar area when the...
Read moreNeglected to capture pictures, but joined my family to celebrate my birthday at Parc Bistro. Overall, it was a great spot and would recommend with some caveats throughout.
Parc Bistros location is found in the heart of Skippack village within a historic building that plays well to a colonial-like setting. We sat on second floor in the dining room, which was quite expansive and had a few other diners. The location was great!
Our server was attentive and polite and was able to rattle off a long and complex list of specials.
The food carries a heavy French influence - as you'd expect from the name. Picky eaters may find the menu somewhat limited in its offerings - with a heavier weighting in the menu on seafood. I personally was okay with this, but my less adventurous parents were limited in their choices. They did all enjoy what they did receive, though.
We shared a few small plates across the table - and we agreed the étouffée was amazing and the star. I opted for a crock of French onion, which was smothered in cheese and crispy onions. It tasted great - but was a bit sweeter than my preference. I also got the Lobster risotto, which was rich and flavorful. The large plates that the remaining guests got were larger in size and we all walked away stuffed. For dessert, I enjoyed the sorbet trio, which was a bit small for the price but tasted amazing!
Overall, the service was great, the location was historic and comfortable, and the food was great based on our tastes. I'd definitely recommend checking it out with the caveat to my points above for picky eaters...
