Great for Black History Month visitors of all people who'd like to attend. Also, the tour guide was very informative. The Schoolhouse Museum is Smithfield’s hidden gem. The tour given by Mrs. Phyllis was amazing & moved me to tears as she spoke of the reality of those times for African Americans. I plan to return with my grandchildren so they can learn of the sacrifices made so that we are free to have an education. It’s a must see! Believe me you won’t be disappointed.
