I saw the story about Hamtown Mercantile today on the Wavy 10 news. What a great shop. I hope to cross the river and spend some time there. Nice looking store, however one of the employees made a negative remark against my autistic son. I wasn’t sure if she was the owner or not ( I sure hope not). The comment was supposed to be under her breath, but my other son and I heard it. The women at the register was friendly and greeted us when we came in.
