The only reason I did not give 5 stars is due to insufficient lighting during nighttime hours given the dog park is open until 11 PM. It may be the only lit dog park in Smyrna after sunset however it would be wise to take a decent flashlight to avoid any undiscovered or lost landmines! Read moreThe first dog park I have been to so I don't have a reference for comparison. The dogs that were there seemed friendly, no aggressive dogs. The owners seemed to be bonding also. It is mostly grass with some dirt patches. So if you go when there is dew, I imagine your dog will get quite dirty. Smyrna is good about pricing bags and waste cans for dog stuff. Most of the owners were very attentive and would correct their dogs if they got argumentative. The water fountain leaks and creates this mini river, puddle type thing which he loves to lay in when he gets hot.
