I want to talk about the Pet Supplies Plus store, staff is ALWAYS extremely friendly, from moment you walk in the door. Everytime I've shopped there, due to me walking with a cane, someone has always been there from the time I walk in the door, to helping me out to my car with my pet supplies. I've totally gone away from shopping at the other major pet supply chain stores as they don't give the level of customer service that this place does. I was taken a back to hear that the store hasn't been doing all that well, as not a lot of people are going there to shop. I truly hope that if you're reading this review and have pets that you go in and give them a try, I sincerely believe that you won't be disappointed. They've never tried to upsell me, and their prices are right in line with, and in most cases, cheaper than even the Kroger right next door, and the other big box pet stores. One other thing, for those of us who are veterans, there is a discount. My bill was $71.00 n discount brought it down to $60.00....sorry my math is bad, not sure what that amounts to percentage wise...but if you're a vet or currently serving, make sure you ask for the discount. Please go in and pay them a visit. You hopefully won't be disappointed, I've never been. Again, this place is right next door to the Kroger grocery store, if you're looking at the front of the Kroger, it's...
Read moreThe employees are never very friendly to me while I am here. An example -- just today at the self checkout, for whatever reason, the till went to the "help is on the way" screen. An associate came up, looked at me like I had insulted her mother, swiped her card to made the screen change, and then scurried off -- in a matter for like 4 or 5 seconds. No "Hello", no "I'm sorry", no "May I help you with anything".
They always seem extremely bothered when I need assistance. Of course, I don't expect to be best friends with the bag boy, but I also don't expect rudeness when I frequent the store and choose to shop here... The experience always matters, always! Doesn't matter what you are doing!
If I got the same benefits from my Amex at the farmers market (6% back), I would shop there. I do, however, get the same benefits at other Krogers and different grocery chains. So I think...
Read moreI like this Kroger and shopped here exclusively for a long time... Couple of months ago however it became so chaotic with people panhandling and musicians with loud speakers and equipment setup in the parking lot, young man approaching me in my car begging money and angry young women cursing you in the aisles that I stopped going. I really like Kroger but I don't care to fight to buy groceries. It seems, according to yesterday's visit, that there must have been other complaints because it was all quiet and I had a pleasant shopping experience. They are rather busy and full, especially being that I shop the Friday night after 4:00 extra fuel points deal, so if it makes you uncomfortable to have too many people around you at once ,you might try...
