Was in town for a business adventure. My wife and I left the Hotel to stop in to order a family size dinner. The manager in the photo was the worst we've seen in a long time. After arriving back to our Hotel that was 25 mins away. We taken our clothes off to sit down and have dinner. The 2 large red beans and rice was spoiled rotten. We put our clothes back on and drove the 25 mins back to the store. The manager called my wife back to the register and my wife began to whisper to the manager about the spoiled 2 large red bean and rice because there was a large line and she didn't wanted to cause any trouble if the other customers would hear what was happening. My wife ask the manager to remake the entire family meal because the bag all the food was in smell so bad your got sick on the stomach. The manager refused to remake the entire order and said I'll replace the 2 large red beans and rice only. My wife told the manager if you can't remake the entire order give me my money back. The manager started cursing and threatened to come over the counter and beat my wife a. After the manager refunded my wife. The General Manager step up to the register and ask my wife what was wrong. My wife informed the General Manager that the red beans and rice was spoiled and all she ask the manager to do was replace the entire order because the bag with the entire order smell really bad. The General Manager ask the manager did she check the order before she refunded my wife and she said no. The manager check the bag and said the red beans and rice was spoiled the General Manager look at the manager and said if you would have checked the bag you would have known and all she ask you to do was replace her order. Honestly the General Manager was great because she replace the entire order for free. I gave three 🌟 🌟 🌟 because the General Manager provided great customer service. The other manager should be terminated. Who threatened to kick a customer a because they returned bad food and ask to have the entire order replaced and not ask for there money back??? I told all my co-worker who in town for the business meeting we all was there for not to go to this Popeye and to tell everyone...
Read moreEDIT - Tried this location again today at about 4:45pm on 5/14/2024. I have to say that the service was actually very good today. Very polite through the drive thru speaker (crisp and clear with the communication). Said "welcome back", thanked me when I drive around, and had my order ready right away when I got to the window. Both the gentleman and the lady were right on the spot with my drink, meal, and receipt and I was very impressed with their good customer service. The order was even 100% correct, the food tasted good, and I even got a pickle on my sandwich!
I will add 1 additional star to my review for each consecutive good experience like this! We're at 2 stars now! Let's get to 5!
ORIGINAL REVIEW - My family and I absolutely love the chicken sandwiches, Popeyes biscuits, and the red beans and rice. We have this location super close to our house and I routinely try it out to see if it is improving, but I have been to this location about 20 times in a row with a horrible experience each time (I keep trying it because I love Popeyes so much!).
This place is an absolute disaster. Extremely rude staff that won't make eye contact with you. They can't communicate anything through the drive-thru speakers. And they never say "sorry" or "you're welcome" despite the fact that they routinely screw up orders and give you the wrong food or just leave things off your order.
Recently, this location rarely actually has any of the menu items you want in stock. Like the ultra popular chicken sandwich (super frustrating). Today when I visited, they had no sides except for mashed potatoes and French fries! What the heck guys?!?!
It takes 15-20 minutes to get your order through the drive-thru and there are so many cars waiting at the front of the building that the actual drive thru line can't even move because there is no place to pull over and wait for food.
Do NOT even bother going here unless you are like me and are addicted to their chicken sandwich (which they run out of...
Read moreI am completely baffled that the owners is this establishment make any money with the staff they're keeping at this location. First off, on Tuesday, the girl/female at the window was so dirty. Her sweater looked like she had been wearing it for at least 2 weeks. I'm not kidding. I took my order and drove off. Upon opening my food,I know I had a wing and a leg, but the other piece is whatever it was, was unrecognizable. I drive back, went t inside, and waited in love. When it was my turn, I asked, who I realized was the manager on duty, is she could replace this piece, because ki couldn't even tell what it was. It honestly looked like a piece of rolled up for fat. I think it was supposed to be a thigh. She looked at me and said, very rudely, "Hmmm... You better come with some respect..I ain't touching dat" She then proceeded to ignore me. Mind you..I only came over here from Conyers to have my car serviced at the dealership down the street and got a little hungry. Why... Why are some people so ugly on the inside. That was so unnecessary and utterly rude. I could use a lot more words to describe how unpleasant my experience was at this location, but it's safe to say... Upper Management does not care how customers are treated. They keep on ratchet, belligerent staff because they are desperate for workers. If my staff at my store that I run, ever treated any customer in this manner, they would be looking for a job the same day. These hiring managers need to do a better job in choosing the staff they choose. These people are only a reflection of their training. They learn from the top. It's safe to say...I will never eat at another Popeyes every again, and I hope more people start boycotting places that treat them...
