Horrible Experience - If I could give this place ZERO Stars, I would. I booked and paid a deposit for my Son's Birthday Party Here on a Sunday. When booking, I selected the pizza I'd like, as well as the drinks. This was all confirmed when someone reached out to me to confirm details and let me know that I needed to complete the guest list and bring the day of the party. So, all of this was done. Now, because I have worked in customer service for so long, I just expected to have a host who was friendly and willing to help in any way possible. I expected to be greeted upon arrival and given pertinent information such as this when the kitchen closes and the rink closes at 6 pm which was the end of my party. We were completely rushed. I was told I could enter the party room 15 minutes prior to the start of my party which was at 3:45 pm. Because of traffic, I was 5 mins late. Guess what? When I arrived, the room was still not ready. Host said she needed to mop the floor. My guests could not enter the room until 4:21pm due to the floor being wet. We even asked for paper towels to try and speed up the process. Food was still brought out at 4:30 and 3 of my pizzas were incorrect. So, she proceeded to put pizza on the plates not asking who wanted what or how. She went and remade the other pizzas but left the cheese pizza on the plates. Instead of her making all 4 pizzas over, all my guests who ate cheese pizza had to eat cold pizza while everyone else's pizza was hot. Nobody in their right mind will feed some kids ahead of the others. Unbeknownst to me, they had a private event planned at 7 p.m. and my party would be rushed. So, backtrack to the confirmation call when I confirmed drinks and pizzas, I asked if my guests would be allowed to skate after we were to leave the room, and she said yes, you just won't have access to the room past 6 pm. Not, that your party is over and the rink will be closing. The DJ publicly humiliated my son over the intercom system by commanding him back to the room so they could have cake before we were told to leave. My 8-year-old son came into the room crying because of embarrassment and being scolded over the loudspeaker. Nevertheless, this was the worst party ever. My son did not get a chance to skate long, much less even use his arcade card or visit the open play area because we were rushed and we were not allowed to put our things in the space until the wooden floor dried which was heavily mopped with too much water. This was a special year for my son. The year he beat the odds of never developing abnormalities or childhood cancers that his condition could have caused. My family flew in from Chicago for the day just to celebrate this and we had this experience. I spoke with a gentleman manager who put in writing all of our issues. I am now writing this review on Friday, November 3, 2023, and the party was on Sunday, October 29, 2023, and nobody has reached out to rectify the problem. The short Caucasian lady, who labeled us as we walked through the door asked if we were ready to settle the bill. I politely told her no. Not unless we could settle the discrepancies that happened. She proceeded to follow me out of the establishment and call Cobb County which I was totally fine with. I gave my license plate number and told her that she had my address information in the documents that I made for the party. She proceeded to record me. All of this was because they did not want to settle their human errors respectfully and see that we were slighted completely. Right now, half of my son's guests still have cards that they couldn't even use. This was an extremely poor experience and in order for my Husband to leave she only took $100 off the party; a $500 party that wasn't even worth $200. I am not pleased and as much as we paid, we could've gone elsewhere and spent less and he could have enjoyed himself more. Someone needs...

Think twice before hosting a party here. We had a less than ideal experience due to extreme understaffing. Literally hosted our own party.

We got there 30 minutes early to set up (as suggested when we booked the party). I was planning to fill out the guests form there. She made us sit outside in the front with our party stuff and fill it out. Would not let us into the venue to do it..why? For the party we booked, we could be there all day. It was just inappropriate to sit out with a huge cake and all other items. I won’t even get into how she’s being rude to us because the birthday child s name and his older sister who is just here to help is not on the guest list. Why would it be be?

We did the Cosmic Party with the porch so parents would have a place to hang out during the party. It was not ready at all for the first 30 minutes of our party and when we got there only black table cloths. It was almost an hour later when they got the table settings up. We asked several times for our set up stuff, finally we got the box and we’re rushing to put things together.

Early on, we realized that they did not have our larger food order (although you must order 48 hours in advance). They said the would have it by 5. They kids are coming back to the place an hour in asking for water (drinks for the entire porch rental time are included), I go up to the front and they said they will bring some they say ok a few times, but sent nothing. Finally, she brings the drinks with some of the food. We wait for her to come back and serve they kids. After about 10 minutes we realize she is not coming back any time soon, so we serve the kids. We wait more time and she comes back with the rest of the food, but not the cake. We wait for awhile, but then tell the kids to go and play again.

Although we fill out the guest list (see above) they did not bring enough settings and game cards for everyone. We ask about this, but our attendant is overwhelmed with just bringing the food out.

She finally brings the cake out and asks me if I want her to serve it… umm yes. She says she will be back she had to speak to her boss. We do the happy birthday and serve the cake ourselves. The food mess was never cleaned off so the kids are trying to eat cake around the food plates.

A few minutes a little after 6, our attendant comes back and let’s us know since there is not another party we can stay there a bit longer…lol, thanks for allowing us when they party and our access was well over 30 minutes late. Still nothing is cleaned up.

7 . We paid the bill (no discount, no apologies) and had to ask about the special gift for the birthday kid, which wasn’t much.

Bar was closed, which was one of the main draws to this location. No drinks at the concession and all but one of the vending machines was broken. It wasn’t like this when we came here and booked in June.

We came here and paid for a care-free managed birthday party, and ended up with much less than that. My son had fun, but this wasn’t the experience we were promised and paid for. I appreciate that staffing is a challenge, but you should give people the choice if you know you are unable to deliver which was clear...

My girlfriend and I have never been before, so tonight being our first time there, we weren’t really expecting anything wrong because when we walked inside it was pretty nice. My girlfriend had surgery on her ankles a few years ago so of course she wasn’t going to be the fastest person on the rink. But she has skated after her surgery before and she can skate just like anyone else with minor issues other than the fact that her ankles get weak and we have to take a small breaks. ANYWAYS we get going after we get our skates from the front and I have to help her onto the floor so we can skate. Then one of the employees who wears the ref jerseys that skate with everyone who make sure things run smoothly told us that we can’t just stand on the rink floor. Which i understand because he probably didn’t even see that I was only trying to help her onto the floor. So no biggie we didn’t say anything and he went on about his own business. Eventually we had to take a break because of my girlfriends ankles. After a break we decide to get back on and the same guy comes over and says that she has to go to the middle of the rink to warm up and practice first even though she can skate just fine. So whatever we go to the middle. After that we take another break and eventually get back on the rink and skate. And now that my girlfriend has worked her ankles up, she gets going a bit faster and it becomes easier for her to skate. At some point she fell. Because people fall sometimes which is okay. As long as you get back up and dust yourself off, it’s no big deal. And here comes the same guy who told her to go to the middle comes over and instead of asking if she’s okay or helping her up, he tells her to get back up and go to the middle and that he wasn’t joking when he told her to go to the middle. And not only that, he says she’s going too slow when there’s literally people just standing in the way of everyone doing their own thing spinning in circles and yada yada yada and not even acknowledging the fact that people are having to go around them instead of just going to the middle to do whatever they wanna do. Which I didn’t care because it didn’t bother me that people are just trying to have a good time. What bothered me is that we were the only ones who were being told by this guy that the way were skating didn’t meet his standards. Oh and we were also the just about the only white people there. It’s a shame there’s lack of good customer service and it’s a shame that when people are given power, they use it to their advantage and abuse it. We spent $28 for the 2 of us to have fun and not even 30 minutes of being there, we already felt like we didn’t want to be there anymore. I’m grateful getting to spend time with my girlfriend and have fun which is what we came to do. Not get told how to skate and treat us as if we’re children. If you’re thinking of going, good luck. Thats all I got to say. Hopefully the $28 i paid is used to maybe upgrade the skates too because if you use inclines, they won’t stay strapped onto your feet. Nobody’s gunna catch me back...
