It is a welcoming environment, clean, and they accommodate all disabilities. There are elevators to eliminate stairs, they have programs for the blind and hearing impaired. They offer online programs for those that can't be on campus. They help with child care, schedule conflicts and any other obstacle you may encounter. I tried signing up for college through ECTC before and they were horrible. They didn't help me understand anything, they didn't ask how I'd like my classes or anything. With Somerset, I have been given help since day 1. I never attended at ECTC because I didn't know what to do or how to do classes online. Every staff at this school is helpful and they work with you. They make sure you understand your entire path and know what your next steps are. They help you learn how to navigate the entire website and how to take your classes. I went for two separate state exams where if taken courses online and it was easy in and easy out. Not a far walk from the parking area, as someone with a knee injury it was easy to get there and to go inside. I had an appointment, they checked me off the appointment list and I began my supervised test right away. No one stands over you ..you are monitored by cameras, and when you are done...you just leave. Easy in and easy out. No complications...
