I ordered yesterday, 5/25/2020, using the preferred method of the Chik-fil-a app and when we went to check in, within 5-10 minutes of submitting the order, it failed. I put the order back in and noticed that all carside, etc options were suddenly no longer available only drive-in. The line was over 30 cars long. An employee, bringing out a carside order, told me that the store had "just turned off their mobiles" and apologetically informed me i would need to get in the drive-in line. I merged into the drive-in, waited 15-20 minutes before i got to the speaker, gave my mobile order name, and thought, "ok, things should be smooth from here as they normally are" but when it came time to pay, the card that i normally used in the app failed. They tried 2 more times, but still failure. After using another card and recieving my food, which was hot and delicious btw. I went in my way. The person who brought us our food was pleasant and apologized for the delay. I thought "ok, we got through this", frustrating and inconvenient but food was correct and good, so I'll let this go. I found out when i tried to use my card back in my home state and it was declined, that CFA has tried to charge my card 8 times in quick succession causing my account to be locked. I am not happy about that as that should never have happened - the same card worked at multiple places in the same area in the days prior and my bank informed me that CFA was the cause of the lock after I called and was transferred to...
Read moreThe food is absolutely awesome. I believe it is addictive it is so good. Especially their chicken sandwiches. Considering how much MSG they put in their food it's definitely worth high blood pressure and heart palpitations eating their food. Also the employees are friendly and kind they look and dressed and act like Mormons. I feel every time when I go to Chick-fil-A if I need prayer I'm certainly going to get someone to pray for me. If I stated their chicken sandwiches are absolutely delicious I haven't tried their salad. I'm assuming they probably are very good as well. It is such a blessing that we have Chick-fil-A here in Somerset it's definitely worth waiting at 2 hours in line because you're getting awesome food serve to you by awesome godly people. Sure gaining weight and having some issues the additives they put inside their food. It's still worth it and it is absolutely the best restaurant in Somerset and possibly Nationwide considering they have other locations across the country. Now that I'm a Chick-fil-A customer I have decided to give my life to Christ.đ. I'm now a member of the Chick-fil-A cult.đ. God Bless America God bless Chick-fil-A Hallelujah.đ. I would go further with the review. I am starting to speak...
Read moreMy recent visit to Chick-fil-A Somerset, located at 2400 S Hwy 27, Somerset, KY 42501, was a bit of a mixed bag. The service was great, with staff being friendly and efficient, but unfortunately, the food and drink didn't quite hit the mark.
My Coke was flat, lacking the usual bubbly fizziness one expects from a soda. Additionally, my chicken sandwich, while flavorful, was a tad too greasy for my preference. When I requested mayo be added to my sandwich, I was informed I would have to do this myself with packets they provided. While not a significant issue, it was a minor inconvenience that detracted slightly from the overall experience.
On the bright side, the fries were a standoutâcooked to perfection and delightfully crispy. They were the highlight of the meal.
In conclusion, while my overall experience at this Chick-fil-A was positive, there are areas where the food quality could be improved. Despite these minor issues, I will be returning, albeit with slightly adjusted expectations. With a bit more attention to these details, I'm confident Chick-fil-A Somerset can provide an outstanding...
