What The Fluff Festival — Local services in Somerville

I went to the What the Fluff festival in Somerville and was so disappointed. The crowds got insane shortly after opening, and it quickly became impossible to move within the festival. The lines for everything were incredibly long, and almost all of the merchandise was already sold out. I couldn't get to any vendors at all and eventually just worked my way out of the crowd and left.

What bothered me most was how unsafe the whole setup felt. With no real crowd control in place, at any point a panicked stampede could have caused a dangerous crush that might have injured or even killed people. That's not an exaggeration, it was genuinely unsafe.

For an event that's supposed to be fun, this was chaotic, disorganized, and stressful. I won't be going back in the future unless there are major changes to how it's run. Honestly, this festival needs to start ticketing or find another way to manage capacity, because there are plenty of ways to do street festivals well and this was not...
