Highway 12 Winery Tasting Room — Attraction in Sonoma

Great experience with Highway 12 wine and Janet. Patio seating was warm but had a lovely ambiance. The Winery tasting room was confusing to find since the winery seemed to be boasting 3 names—Highway 12, Highwayman, The Barn. We went around the building trying to see which one was the recommended one.

Janet was great at assuring we were in the correct location for ALL THREE! she guided us through several wines and kept a constant on us.

I tasted their wine Highway 12 in the Fairmont hotel as they give this bottle complementary in rooms, I was so impressed that found the winery online and researched it. So here is why- I lately super sensitive to wines especially reds - and if drink more than 1,5 glass I have a headache after most wines. This one didn’t give me any hangover and I indulged 3 glasses of it. Plus my hubby joined and loved it. You guys did an amazing job on the quality. The patio of this place was great and tucked away from the main plaza area. Janet was our host taking us through our tastings and was so sweet! She made some suggestions based off of our preferred tastes. Between the great service and delicious wine, I became a member and am looking forward to my Fall delivery. There were several guests there that told us this place was their favorite and even a small group who had gone elsewhere and decided to come back for a glass of wine because this place was the best winery...
